Who you gonna call? – Dan Aykroyd at The Whisky Exchange

Who you gonna call you ask well in my case this day I went along to call upon the legendary Dan Aykroyd and wow what a legend he is.

Dan Aykroyd visits London

Crystal Head

We waited eagerly in the line outside The Whisky Exchange in London so we could meet Dan. The rule was though to buy one of Dan Aykroyd and John Alexander crafted Crystal Head’s. Crystal Head is one of the world’s purest vodkas you can buy. The skull represents symbol of life, reflecting power and enlightenment. This is an award-winning white spirit of super natural purity. I bough the Aurora Crystal Head. It appealed to me as it was different with it’s diesel colours. So spectacular and very ghostly it just drew me in.  It also comes presented in a very stunning black box. I really can’t wait to try out this luxury vodka. The Aurora uses high quality English wheat and pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada to craft an additive-free vodka. The vodka is five times distilled and filtered seven times. Three of the filterations pass through layers of Herkimer diamonds as our final distinctive touch. This new crafted vodka uses different grain so it offers a drier, bolder and spicier vodka whilst still staying true to the Crystal Head house style.  This new version also won the Gold Medal San Francisco’s World Spirits competition 2016. We came, we saw, Dan Aykroyd

After waiting an hour outside we eventually walked through the doors of The Whisky Exchange and got to the stairs in where I could see him speaking to other fans, signing merchandise and signing Crystal Heads.  I was in awe and I just wanted to jump over the banister to have my turn in meeting him. However the “the light was yellow” still not my turn yet.  When I then eventually got down the stairs and it came to my turn well I just had to have the whole thing filmed on video. I got to sit next to Dan and my heart was going thump thump thump. I felt like my soul was going to rip out of my body as I was that excited. He would of then had to of got his trap out to catch my soul as he has already touched it.  Dan really did totally slime me with his huge personality and enthusiasm he was such a pleasure to meet. He truly did give me shivers down my spine. When he shook my hand I thought of this famous line “Someone blows their nose and you want to keep it?” and I was thinking at this point I will never wash my hand again.  I was star struck! I asked him what his best movie he has starred in was.  He said “Blues Brothers” which I totally agree as that is such a legendary movie. He also signed my Vodka head box as my Ghostbusters DVD sleeve.  This has to be one of the most spine tingling star meetings I will never forget.

Me and Jason “came, we saw, we kicked its ass” we got his photo, autograph and his luxury vodka in the spooky Crystal Head which I will totally enjoy.

Did you prefer Dan Aykroyd in Ghostbusters, Blues Brothers or another movie?
