Bite Me Burger Co is a unique popped up burger restaurant which you can order various mini burgers from even a hot dog if you don’t fancy a burger.
About Bite Me Burger Co
Bite Me Burger Co shares a space with Cha Chaan Teng on Holborn’s Kingsway, the pop-up restaurant is the brainchild of David Michaels, who first designed the concept in Sydney back in 2007 and is the author of The World Is Your Burger: A Cultural History. He also runs it along with head chef Adam Rawson who is a two time award winner of the Slider Decider. They are also planning to follow up the pop-up with even more Bite Me Burger Cos around London in autumn.
The experience
I the founder of Love Pop Ups London took some members of the community along to have some burger sliders, fries and milkshakes. With such a vast selection and not all are beef which made a change there was even a aubergine option called Veg Me. From the menu I chose the Hawaiian, Pluck Me and Duck Me burger. All of which came presented nicely on a slider plank and all looked very cute, were all juicy and very tasty. The duo (three burgers) for me plus the fries was most certainly enough to fill me up. The fries come dusted with pink Himalayan salt making them taste even more scrummy and different to your normal type of chip.
All burger bundles are reasonably priced and available to eat in, takeaway or even get delivered. See the menu below.
Mini photo competition
Plus on the night I held a mini photo competition with Anna Swahn of adventuringwithgusto winning the competition and bagging herself one of David’s books The World Is Your Burger: A Cultural History which David kindly gave and a burger press and milkshake glasses from me. This is her winning photo and article from her Instagram account
Verdict
I highly recommend to anyone that loves burgers but loves more than one kind of burger on the same day. Go and check it out or even get some delivered to yourself.
Truly is a burgertastic experience.
