Lantern Ghost Tours: Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls

If you love London, history, sex and scandals then this tour will be right up your alley. You will learn all sorts of things that you may of not possibly knew about from how King Henry VIII exploded in his coffin and how people in The Clink prison got tortured with rats.  Seriously you just won’t believe how Londoners where back in those days.

Question is do you think you would of survived the gruesome going on’s back in those days?

Immercity: Dead Quiet

Immercity latest murder mystery Dead Quiet is about a murder which took place back in 1962 after a lecturer at a Library.  It is up to guests to put the ghosts of the past to rest.

The question is who was killed, why and who done it?

“After we watched all the events unfold, we were given an opportunity to get back together in our groups and brief each other on what we had witnessed, to prepare for a chance to speak to the ghosts of the past to hopefully unravel this mystery and find out what actually happened and why.”

Moonshine

Cowboys and Cowgirls listen up their is a new Wild West saloon in town.  So take along some fogmatic (drink) where a bar dog (mixologist) will mix you up a Moonshine cocktail.  Be part of a boodle (group) when inside and try your luck at some card and dice games and exchange tales of the West with your fellow buds.

Will you be leaving going “Yeehaw” or will you be thrown in Jail for cheating at cards?

Old Chang Kee 

Old Chang Kee is a Singaporean Street food Institution which brings legendary snacks to London.  Serving various iconic Street food such as the Singaporean chicken curry, nasi lemak and their famous curry puff which can be eaten in or taken away. 

So if you love Singaporean food with a slight twist then I highly recommend a visit.

The Cauldron

The Cauldron is a magical immersion cocktail class experience which lasts 1 hr 45 min. Guests or witch’s and wizard’s will get to work their magic wands and molecular mixology to brew drinkable elixirs.  After donning a robe and testing out their magic wands by pouring a draft of Four Cauldron beer guests/witch’s/wizard’s head on over to an interactive work station where you’ll prepare ingredients and conjure two cocktails that bubble, smoke, and change colour.

Get on your broomstick and fly on down to The Cauldron before it disappears.

“We started by grinding our dried botanicals into a powder in the pestle and mortar. We then added this into our cauldron and with the addition of a special ingredient, mixed away!”

For King and Country

For King and Country is an immersive experience set in an alternate 1940 world, where the British government has been wiped out, King Edward VII in on the throne and Nazi troops are advancing through Surrey. The audience is a group of surviving MPs in a secret bunker.

Will you survive?

“You form a parliament within the group elect specific members to party like Prime Minister and Press secretary. The rest of the time there you vote on different plans of action and carry out missions and talks depending on which department you go with.”

Afro Brunch

Love music, brunch and music then Afrobeats & Brunch is the place to party on down to.  Guests will get served dishes and cocktails from across Africa (both meat and vegetarian meal options available).

Will you be leaving dancing to the beat?

“With the arrival of the food came three dancers on stage, taking turns to show off some amazing moves. Our starter was a delicious spicy banana dish, followed up by a super succulent chicken thigh with Jollof rice, sauce and some crisps deep fried potatoes to the MC calling out to each table and engaging with the crowd.”

Up at the O2

Did you know that you can walk over the O2?  Well you can and there is no lift, no escalator and no-one to carry you on this experience.  This walk will get anyone’s blood pumping and your head in the clouds. This is what is called Urban Mountaineering.

Explorers will ascend all the way to the top of The O2 via a walkway and suspended 52m above ground level. Kitted out with your climb suit, boots and harness you’ll be every inch the urban mountaineer.

The Big London Bake

Ever wanted to know what it might be like to participate in The Great British BakeOff well know you can. As at The Big London Bake you can cook and compete against others without the pressure of Mary Berry or Paul Hollywood.

Each baker will be provided with all the key ingredients for the ultimate baking extravaganza which lasts 90 minutes. Whisking, rolling, drizzling, customising, creating will you be crowned the winner of The Big London Bake.

Taste of London is Taste flagship foodie festival which pops up in the summer in the stunning grounds of Regent’s Park in June for 5 days. If you love escape rooms and anything to do with Witches and Wizards then you’ll love this magical room.  Will you though magically be able to conjure your way out of the room before the mad wizardary professor returns?

“With us being new students and not having learnt any spells or witchcraft as yet we could not magically conjure up any spells to unlock the door to escape and we certainly did not want to be turned into a frog that’s for sure as otherwise our blogs would just have the word ribbit, ribbit, ribbit. So the hunt for clues to escape was on.”

A Door in a Wall – A Dead Man’s Hand

A murder has been committed at the Underhand Club but the question is who done it and why?

Poor Jack Spade a reckless gambler even though he had been dealt the right cards it cost him his life. All those who sat around the poker table that night had something to hide.

Secret Adventures – Kayak to Crate Brewery

If you love London’s canals, love kayaking and love pizza then Secret Adventures Kayak to Crate Brewery you will love.

Secret Adventures provides a great route kayaking down Limehouse Cut and River Lea (6km long) passing houseboats, warehouses, Olympic Park and birds along the way. After paddling for approx. 1.5 hours you’ll arrive at Crate Brewery where you then can chill back and munch perhaps on a pizza or even sip on a pint of beer or two (food and drink not included in the price).

“If you’ve never canoed before, don’t panic! Before taking to the water, we were shown the basic paddling techniques. And honestly, they’re pretty simple to get the hang of. The kayaks felt really stable and comfortable, and there are instructors out on the water with you if you do end up struggling.”
