Tonight we went to London Escaped to show Da Vinci that we are worthy to be his newest students.
London Escaped
London Escaped has only recently opened up bringing to London two atmospheric games with more to come. At present they have one called the Prisoner and the other Da Vinci. Like all other escape rooms the mission is to hunt for keys, find clues, solve puzzles and to beat the clock within 60 minutes.

Upon entering London Escaped reception I was pleasantly surprised as the space was huge and had plenty of games to play from table tennis through to pool with a few puzzle type games. The staff were friendly and greeted us with a can of soda pop and explained to us about the room in which we was about to take on.
Da Vinci
You live in Milan Italy, in the year 1495. The name of the Master Leonardo Da Vinci is recognised all around the world. Hundreds of students follow him, hoping that the grand inventor will take them on as a student. There are so many enthusiastic followers who want to be at his side, Da Vinci decides the only way to narrow the field is to build a room specifically designed to select only the best candidates from these eager followers. Only the students capable of exiting this room in 60 minutes will be granted the distinction to learn from the master himself!

Da Vinci skill set is rated hard. It can be booked for two to ten people. We went in as a group of seven however I think that was slightly too many and would advise a minimum of three and maximum of five people.
Before entering the school of Da Vinci we were split into two groups ‘s school and it was up to us to show him that we are worthy students. Me, Laura, Joice and Jason was in team 1 and Chelsea, Paula and Milena was in team 2. We were put into a room each with many various puzzles from physical and logical ones to solve with one leading us to being reunited. Some puzzles involved two or more people to play together to complete making it feel a very team based game. I don’t really want to give too much away but let’s say some puzzles made me think of Crystal Maze from digging in sand through to getting a ball out of a maze.
The whole of Da Vinci’s school was highly elaborate with stunning props and many fun and unique puzzles. In fact this room I was told has 18 varied different puzzles to solve.
We passed our challenges within 39 minutes making us A++ students.
Will you pass with A++?
The noblest pleasure was the joy of passing and proving to Da Vinci that we were worthy to be his new students.
Passed
There are many Da Vinci rooms out there in London but I must admit this certainly is one of the best with it’s props, atmosphere and challenges.
So if you love anything to do with Da Vinci, physical puzzles, hunting and working out logical puzzles then you will love this room.
