Poutinerie by Air Canada has popped up again this year but this time at Old Spitafileds Market as they want to give Londoners a taste of what Air Canada offers, and what better way than serving Canadian’s national dish poutine with proceeds going towards Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Last year when they popped up they sold over 2,133 poutine dishes and helped raise £39,000 with proceeds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity whom they are fundraising again for.
Great Ormond Street Hospital
Every day, 618 children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
Without the support of fundraising and donations this extraordinary hospital would not be able to help seriously ill children.
Every penny is a chance for you to make a difference and help an ill child.
When I flew on by to Poutinerie by Air Canada
I was invited to their press launch and was highly delighted to try the poutine they served up and learned more about Air Canada services.
So much poutine
Poutine is a Canadian dish which traditionally consists of fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy.
Here is the menu of the different types of poutine you can try which are all inspired from different locations that Air Canada fly to.
Here are some images of all the amazing poutine that I enjoyed on the night.
It was hard to decide which was the best but if I had to say one maybe the Montreal’s Classic Poutine but seriously all the dish’s were so good.
Which dish would you choose?
After having so much poutine I was craving something sweet so I went over and had a Canadian lolly made in front of me. It was made out of maple syrup.
It really was tasty but ever so sticky and gooey.
Also whilst eating guests at this pop up can enjoy a selection of destination-inspired beer and wine, all whilst be surrounded by destination-inspired music and imagery.
This pop up really did make an impact to all that wanted to discover more about Air Canada flights even Ashley from the Pussy Cat Dolls popped in which my husband just had to grab a photo with her.
