Have you heard of Karma Sanctum which is a classy boutique hotel which is set within Soho in London?
It provides uniquely exquisite rooms for travellers to stay within but they also have a fantastic restaurant called Wild Heart & Grill which serves top class food.
I have never stayed in any of the Karma Sanctum hotel rooms before but I have had the privilege of dining at their restaurant in where I enjoyed one of the best 3-course Christmas Menus I have ever had in my whole life.
Firstly let me tell you a bit more about Karma Sanctum.
Karma Sanctum

Karma Sanctum Soho is a unique collaboration between Karma Group and Sanctum Hotels, which offers stays for travellers seeking luxury in London, with a seriously cool edge!
Boasting 30 bedrooms within this converted Georgian town houses guests can also take pleasure in enjoying a movie in their cinema, relax on their roof terrace or dine in their British modern restaurant. Plus throughout the year they provide many events such as comedy nights through to a yoga brunch to keep things fresh modern and buzzing.
Wild Heart Bar & Grill a modern British restaurant within Karma Sanctum
I went along to watch an adult panto called A Lad in Soho by Simon Gross within the Karma Sanctum Hotel but beforehand I went and ate a meal in Karma Sanctum restaurant Wild Heart Bar & Grill for a complimentary 3-course meal from their special festive Christmas Menu.

The head chef brings a unique take on British cuisine, with a philosophy which reflects the electricity and colour of Soho.

Stepping within this oasis of comfort I firstly noticed the amazing style and sophistication which this sumptuous 30 bedroom boutique hotel provides.

Set around the walls of the restaurant is an abundance of art work which guests can buy a very arty individual piece of art reflecting glamour of bohemian life.
Festive feast of delight
Sitting in one of the comfy booths after reading through the menu I opted for Chicken Liver Parfait with sour dough toast, Roast Breast of Norfolk Turkey and ended with Mince Pies and Christmas Pudding.
Chicken Liver Parfait with sour dough toast

Chicken Liver Parfait is different to Chicken Pate as the parfait (French for perfect) is when the cooked liver mixture is pushed through a sieve to remove any sinewy bits, resulting in a silkier, smoother and luscious liver parfait! This Liver Parfait certainly was creamy and smooth and very indulgent in taste all which was served with some lovely thing lightly toasted bread to spread on.
Roast Breast of Norfolk Turkey

This was a very large portion of three thick slices of traditional turkey which was succulent and really tasty all served with a selection of roast vegetables plus with served with pigs in blankets. I especially loved the baby coloured carrots as this made the plate look even more festive. Plus the Brussel sprouts which I usually don’t like I absolutely loved as they were so soft not crunchy.
You certainly will be full after eating this and wanting to take a nap which you could easily do in their comfy seats dotted around the restaurant.
Mince Pies and Christmas Pudding

These were cute in size, had a lovely colour, crunch and literally the flaky pastry melted in the mouth. The filling of the fruity mince had the right consistency of brandy and fruit currants making this one of the best mince pies I have ever tasted.
This menu is a bargain at £22.50!
So if you have never dined at Karma Sanctum I highly recommend.
If you run out of time and missed out in having their Christmas festive menu then fear not as they do other special seasonal menus throughout the year such as a Valentines which I am sure will equally be as good.
They also have an array of other menus to choose from throughout the year (click on each to open up a pdf of the menu).
A la Carte • Breakfast • Ace of Spades Afternoon Tea • Rockstar Fridays • Prosecco Brunch • Sunday Lunch
Jolly delight
Normally I would not eat in a hotel but Karma Sanctum Hotel has definitely changed my mind and thoughts on hotel restaurants as their Christmas Menu food did not only taste good but the portions were most certainly more than generous and not skimpy at all. Thus making me most certainly wanting to return and indulge on the other dishes they serve at this very classy hotel restaurant and bar.
