Ball time fun at TwoRuba in Tower Bridge

Have you ever been to a high end hotel which has a ball pit for adults to play in? No, then you’ll love Hilton’s TwoRuba at Tower Bridge which adults and children alike can have a ball of a good time within their ball pit.

I was invited down on a complimentary basis along with nineteen other community members from Love Pop Ups London to have some fun within their summer themed ball pit as well as enjoy culinary canapes and sharing platters.

TwoRuba is a place where you can lounge, enjoy a drink or nibble on some food within Hilton’s Hotel in Tower Bridge.

With a dash of glamour and lashings of luxury you can enjoy an expertly selection of their trusted favourites from old and new world wines, a wide selection of bottled beers, carefully hand-picked Champagnes, international mixture of spirits or a carefully crafted cocktails by expert mixologists. Also at TwoRuba you can enjoy creative small plates as well as sharing platters all within their sophisticated bar and lounge area.

Fun within TwoRuba

Upon entering TwoRuba I was immediately blown away by the luxurious furnishings and interior.

We were given a lovely area next to the window looking out to London.

Food and drink

With everyone being hungry we started off with canapes and sharing platters before we all headed and took the plunge into TwoRuba summer themed ball pit.

For the nibbles and canapes we were served Olives, Nuts, Crab with Coriander & Chilli Tostada, Beef with salsa Verdi and Sundried Tomato Arancini. For the sharing platters we had a mix of Italian Anti Pasti Boards, Pulled Chicken Sliders and Jackfruit Sliders. For dessert we enjoyed slices of Lemon Brulee and Fruit Kebabs.

All the food did not just look great but also tasted amazing. I in particular liked the arcaani balls, they were crisp on the outside and sticky on the inside making them ever so moorish. My other favourite on the night was the cream brulee which was a delight as the lemon was sharp and the brulee was so creamy. However I don’t know where the popping candy was.

For drinks we were served throughout the night Prosecco, wine and non alcoholic cocktails which was made out of mulled strawberries, fresh lemon juice, strawberry syrup, elder flower cordial and topped with ginger ale which was sweet and delicious.

Ball pit fun

After eating we then dived into the ball pit where we swum, created ball angels, threw balls at each other, hid amongst balls and so much more.

I especially loved the inflatables within the ball pit really giving it a real summer theme. My favourite was the flamingo but then I love birds

I also gave away a goody bag worth of prizes to the one who found a special prize ball which I organised to be hidden within the ball pit. Gemma (@munchinglondon) was the lucky winner.

Ball pits are fun and a great way to have fun with friends be it for a birthday, hen / stag party or even just for fun. Also ball pits are a great alternate way to let you hair down from a long day at work with colleagues.

So much more

Within TwoRuba throughout the week you can enjoy so much more from events to cocktail making.

Wednesdays they hold Woruba Jazz Nights where you can listen to a saxophonist player live between 6pm – 8pm.

Thursdays enjoy the sounds of a live DJ between 6pm until 11pm.

If you love cocktails you might want a cocktail masterclass where you will get to learn and make cocktails which is available for groups of 5 or more people at £35.00 per person. The masterclass includes a welcome drink, 2 cocktails per person and crisps & nuts.

If you love afternoon tea then enjoy an afternoon tea at a bargain price of £19 per person, minimum of 10 people.

Verdict

TwoRuba is a great venue if you are looking for a lovely luxurious chilled setting area to grab a drink and enjoy some nibbles but if you are looking to pump up your evening then dive into TwoRuba’s ball pit where there is fun to be had for all your family and friends no matter how old you are.
