Share A Slice gets you cooking pizza in a frying pan

Share A Slice is pizza with a difference as with their pizzas you cook it in a frying pan instead of an oven and within a few minutes it’s done.

I was kindly gifted a Pizza At Home Kit courtesy of Share a Slice to create my very own pizza at home in return for an honest review.

Share A Slice

Back in 2018 Share A Slice popped up in Pop Brixton by founders Raj and Sandeep who bring to London traditional Napoleon pizza.

Before hitting London they learned the true art of making authentic Neapolitan Pizza in Naples at Pizzeria La Notizia under the watchful eye of Master Pizzaiolo, Enzo Coccia, where they learnt and developed techniques essential to produce fresh and classic flavours.

“Maestro Pizzaiolo made it all happen. What an inspiring teacher, great personality and an incredible chef. It was truly an experience like no other and we are grateful for all the memories.”

Founders Raj and Sandeep

As newly founded pizzerias they found that much of pizza making and its intricacies were an art form.

Setting up in London within their converted horse cart trailer, aptly named the Mona Pizza they started to serve traditional Napoleon pizza before moving into Pop Brixton with their pizzeria which they named Share A Slice.

All their dough is left to rise for over 24 hrs to provide a light and soft taste, all of which are made using fresh Italian ingredients to bring that unique flavour of Naples to London.

Combating hunger, a major symptom of homelessness and the growing poverty population in London with every Pizza bought by a customer they make and donation of one pizza to those in need via their weekly food drives and charity partners. Simply by buying your lunch or dinner from Share A Slice you are helping feed someone else with a meal of their own, at no extra cost. To date, Share A Slice, have donated just under 1000 pizzas to those in need and are always looking for new partners to work with to help tackle a fast-growing problem.

Share A Slice now Pizza At Home which offers pizza eating lovers Pizza At Home Kits which come with dough, tomato sauce and mozzarella to make your very own fresh made Neapolitan style pizza home. No need for an oven though as with this pizza kit, all you need is a frying pan, a hob and grill making pizza even easier.

Eating Pizza has never felt so good!

Pizza has never been easier with Share A Slice Pizza At Home Kit.

Upon opening the Pizza At Home I saw Two Dough Balls, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, Parmigiano, Olive Oil and Fresh Basil. All with a step by step guide on how to make a traditional Pizza Margherita.

Did you know? that the Pizza Margherita was named in honour of the Queen of Italy, Margherita of Savoy and the Italian Unification. The toppings represented each colour of the Italian national flag, tomatoes (red), mozzarella (white) and basil (green).

Following the easy step by step guide from flattening the dough, placing in a frying pan, spreading on tomato, dotting on the Mozzarella, sprinkling over Parmigiano, scattering the basil over the pizza and olive oil within a few minutes the base was browned and then popping under the grill waiting for the crust to rise and darken I soon had a tasty looking Napoleon pizza on my table.

Pizzatastic

The pizza was so easy to make with no kneading required just flattening and cooking in a pan. Within a few minutes I had a perfect pizza which was full of taste. It really did taste like a traditional Italian pizza making me feel as I had been transported to Italy.

If you don’t eat dairy, though don’t worry as they also sell vegan pizzas which come with vegan cheese.

I highly recommend ordering this home pizza DIY kit as it is the easiest one I have ever used and the fastest in having a fresh pizza on the table ready to eat.

Highly recommend if you are a pizza lover.
