Sarah set up Bake Works back in 2018 as she lives and breathes baking!
She was inspired and learned how to bake from a young age from her Mum, Nan and Aunt whom are talented home-bakers. Week after week she learnt family classic and new recipes.

A Very Merry Unbirthday to me
Delivered by Sarah I received a 6″ Vanilla-Berry Love which was perfectly intact and was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and strawberries.
Upon slicing into the butter creamed cake you could see the many layers all divided with homemade strawberry coulis and buttercream. The cake held beautifully when transporting to the plate and tasted absolutely delicious, bite after bite, from the creamy vanilla buttercream, sweetness of the coulis and the light fluffy sponge.
A summer sensation for any occasion.
Verdict
I and my family are also keen bakers and were highly impressed by Sarah’s Vanilla-Berry Love cake which looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The only thing that let the presentation down was the board it came on but Sarah explained she does not use the traditional cake boards which are foil based as she is all about being eco friendly and that is why she uses the thin white board instead.
Her cakes can be kept in the fridge for up to 5-6 days but the use by date is clearly labelled on each box. It is advised to take out of fridge approx. 40 minutes before eating it. If you store the cake at room temperature, it is recommended to consume within 4 days. Her cake can also be stored in an airtight container or wrapped and then freezed.
So if you are looking for a great tasting cake at an amazing value I highly recommend checking out her cakes which start from £40 and can feed a minimum of 8 people.
