My passion is cooking and baking so when I heard about BakesterBox I was excited to hear of a company who sells home baking kits that only have high quality ingredients as the quality of ingredients makes a big difference to any bake.
I was gifted on a courtesy basis a cookie baking kit of hers to bake at home.

Cookies, om nom nom nom
BakesterBox delivers practically everything you need to create baking masterpieces in your own home.
Upon receiving all my ingredients from BakesterBox to make luxury cookies at home I was delighted to see how they came all each in individual bags, perfectly weighed out, and with a with full easy step-by-step instructions plus useful extras, such as baking paper.

There was a bag of:
- T55 Patisserie Flour
- French Butter (82% fat)
- Callebaut & Valrhona Chocolate
- Arlington White Free range Eggs
- Light Brown & Caster Sugars
- Walnuts, Cocoa Powder
- Bicarbonate of Soda, Maldon Sea Salt
- Baking Parchment
What impressed me mostly though about this box kit was the butter which came with it as immediately you could tell it was a high quality product. Plus I loved the white egg that came provided cutely nestled in a piece of egg box within a box with artificial straw, so cute.
All that I needed to create these cookies myself was a bowl, mixing spoon (or electric mixer) and a baking tray as to make and bake the cookies.
It was then onto reading the baking instructions which had tips from taking out the butter from the fridge to get to room temperature, followed by an easy step-by-step guide and photos.
Alternatively you can watch her video and cook along step-by-step which can be found on BakesterBox site at bakesterbox.com/tutorials-chocolateandwalnutcookies.
Firstly I had to cream the butter and sugar together to create a light and fluffy mixture before adding the whole egg. Then it was onto adding the flour, cocoa powder, bicarb soda and salt to mix within the mixture. At first I panicked as I could not find all the individual bags but I soon realised that that all came within one bag already mixed together. Then it was onto adding the chopped nuts and chocolate.

Next, time to roll into 15 golf size balls. As to get the right amount I measured the mixture and divided by 15, then weighed each ball to around 46g to get 15 balls, ok I ended up with 14 but still weighing helped. All neatly placed and spaced on a baking tray with the baking parchment I popped them into my heated up oven of 180c for 10 minutes.

The cookies ended from looking like a golf ball into cookies. The smell was epic chocolate heavenly in fact. Sprinkling over some sea salt to give it that extra zing I left them to cool for 10 minutes.

Then it was onto eating them. They were warm, gooey, soft and gave a chocolate explosion, perfection.
As you can imagine they did not last long, om nom nom nom.
Love

As a keen cook and baker even though I know how to make cookies I must admit these were the best I have ever had and the reason why that is, is because the ingredients provided which were all of extremely high quality really does make a difference to any bake. Plus if you are not a great baker with everything provided and her easy step-by-step instructions made cooking these cookies as easy as ABC.
So if you like baking but don’t like the mess BakesterBox kits are for you as you can’t go wrong! Perfect for yourself or your foodie friendly and family as a gift.
