Tea has been around in the UK since the eighteenth century, and an abundance of teas cover our supermarket shelves as tea is the most popular and commonly offered beverage in any home, work place, restaurant, hotel etc. but there is noting quite like BRUU tea.
The most popular tea we drink in the UK is a black tea with a slice of lemon, and sugar. The other popular tea that we consume is English Breakfast tea, which is tea served in a mug with milk and a spoon of sugar, this is also known is also known as a builder’s tea.
In Britain we often enjoy a cuppa along with a sandwich, crumpet, scone, cake or biscuit. A popular British custom is to dunk a biscuit into tea.
As centuries have gone by though so has our tea tastes. We are now not just satisfied with the traditional Black or English Tea anymore but we yearn for variety from green, fruity, spicy and herbal teas.

I tasted a variety of their subscription boxes from South Africa, Nepal and Japan each which took me on a journey and every single bag of their tea provided high quality loose tea leaves providing freshness and superior taste.
Here are photos of the amazing teas I enjoyed along with their mini tea tasting cards which came along with each tea.

Biscottea

Cheeky Digestive

Diamond Black

Famous Dragon

Lazzzy Tea

Lemon Waffle

Mao Jian

Pina Colada

Each took me on a different journey every month and I discovered a fresh new tantalising taste every time courtesy of BRUU.
Every single one was certainly unique and banging in flavours which I have never ever had before making BRUU tea that extra special and posh.
Each tasted as you can imagine but my personal favourite was the Cheeky Digestive as it seriously did taste like a melted down digestive biscuit but an alternative healthy version. It provided a sweet, nutty and fruity flavour.
I also got a little creative and with my BRUU Diamond Black tea I made some biscuits with the tea leaves which made gorgeous Earl Grey tasting buttery biscuits.
