Waagyu at home

It took Dean 2 months to develop the perfect burger using the highest quality ingredients possible creating the most luxurious, premium burger to our door steps.

Upon receiving my burger kit I was impressed how well it was packed with all packaging 100% recyclable.

The Signature Waagyu Burger kit includes:

  • 4x Waagyu Burgers
  • 4x Barnets Bakery Sesame Brioche bun
  • 4x Slice Mature Cheddar
  • 4x Hendersons Butcher Streaky Bacon
  • Crispy Baby Gem Lettuce
  • Crispy Onions
  • Dean’s Waagyu sauce
  • Easy to follow instructions

Cooking at home

All of their burger kits use top quality ingredients from their hand pressed burgers which use prime cuts and steak trimmings, salt & pepper, to bring out the taste of the Waagyu. The cheese is a mature cheddar. The bacon is from award winning Henderson’s butchers. Crispy pieces of onions to give that extra acidity and crunch. Dean’s sauce to give a creaminess to the burger and all which is sandwiched between burger fluffy, fresh buns by Barnetts Bakery

Following the easy instructions provided, within around 15 minutes I soon had a burger on my plate ready to eat. Just precook the patties on the hob first to lightly brown then pop in oven for 10 minutes that simple, followed on by stacking all ingredients within the bun. You can do it either Dean’s way of bun base, sauce, onions, burger patty, cheese, bacon, lettuce and then finally the bun top. However you can do anyway you like.

How would you stack yours?

I don’t know how I got my mouth around it but wow it was packed with flavour. Pleasing all my senses it looked fab, smelt amazing and was ever so flavoursome. The burger patty was meaty, the bacon crisp as well as salty, cheesy, crunchy from the onions plus lettuce, and creamy from the delicious sauce. I just loved how everything worked together beautifully with the cheese melting over the burger and sauce oozing from the burger when squashing down with my hands to eat it. What an explosion!

Apart from Waagyu Burger selling Burger Kits they also sell 71 Brewing Beers and Lager and Cocktails & Spirits which can be enjoyed at home along with your kit.

Verdict

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Having enjoyed quite a few burger kits whilst at home I can highly say this is one of the favourites. Why? as it’s not overly complicated to cook and not too many ingredients making it simpler to cook and stack. However what really stood out to me about the burger in whole was the fresh high quality ingredients and flavour.

So if you are looking for a quick meal, which is meaty but yet fun then I highly recommend a Waagyu Burger kit as it is easy to cook, and you can build up how you like.

Waagyu Burgers happily satisfied me and certainly did awaken all my senses.
