This past year with the pandemic of Covid19 it has caused us all to suffer with anxiety it has resulted in me suffering with insomnia, the inability to get to sleep at night. However sleep can be affected not just because of anxiety but stress, depression, hot flushes, jet lag, health conditions, medication or even the amount of coffee you drink.
Sleep though is a very essential function that allows our body and mind to recharge, leaving us all refreshed and alert when we wake up. Healthy sleep also helps the body remain healthy and stave off diseases. Without enough sleep, the brain cannot function properly. This can the impact our abilities to concentrate, think clearly, and process memories. Most adults require between seven hours of sleep. Children and teenagers need substantially more sleep, particularly if they are younger than five years of age.
To help get to sleep there are a variety of ways to help tackle issues such as insomnia and that is by eating healthier, exercise and more importantly having the right mattress, pillows and covers to provide comfort.
Having suffering with insomnia myself due to anxiety and getting very hot in bed I was happy to discover about Kally Sleep cooling pillows which I was kindly gifted one to show me that cooling pillows really can help.

Sleep easy at night
I have been suffering in getting to sleep for years now due to anxiety issues mainly but also because of my tempa pillow which makes my head very hot, in turn making me toss and turn in bed a lot. When I discovered about Kally Sleep Cooling Pillow (75cm x 45cm x 10cm) I was thrilled as I never knew there was anything like a cooling pillow.

So bye bye to my tempa pillow and hello Kally Sleep.
Upon receiving the pillow and unzipping it from the bag it came within I was very pleased by the touch and softness of the pillow. This pillow has a firm range of 6/10. However what makes this pillow that extra special is it’s cooling foam core which really did help prevent my head from getting really hot during the night.
How? well the air-permeable inner vent with a cool layer of hollowfibre filling helps keep the material cool. The lightweight cover absorbs the minimal heat whilst its advanced foam core technology regulates surface temperature. The lightweight cover absorbs the minimal heat whilst its advanced foam core technology regulates surface temperature. Whilst the elastic inner-foam layer affords flexibility, moulding with your head and neck to ensure natural spine alignment. Plus the beauty about the Kally Sleep cooling pillow is that you can hand wash it so you can refresh it every so often.
Verdict
After using the Kally Sleep cooling pillow for a number of weeks now I can highly solemnly say I am very happy that I binned my tempar pillow and replaced it with this cooling pillow.

At first I must admit I was a little disappointed by the deepness of the Kally Sleep cooling pillow but after a few nights I got used to the depth and medium firmness it provided. What I really loved though about this pillow is that it really did improve my sleep I was not getting hot anymore and I was not tossing and turning as much either anymore, I think as I wasn’t as hot.
Now reading up about sleep did you know that to initiate sleep, and stay asleep, your body and brain needs to drop their core temperature by about 2-3 degrees. Experts recommend a bedroom temperature of 20 Celsius for optimum sleep. That is why I think the Kally Sleep cooling pillow does help prompt a good nights sleep thanks to the materials used to make the pillow.
So if you get hot at night and looking for a good nights sleep then I highly recommend checking out Kally Sleep cooling pillows and their other pillows which are designed to help people with muscular issues or snoring issues. Plus Kally sell a range of other bedding items such as a cooling mattress topper.
