Bath Fairy time to soak, relax and rejuvenate

Having a bath is the most relaxing way to wash your troubles away but what makes a bath even more fun is watching and listening to a bath bomb fizz away.

What are bath bombs? Bath bombs are a little like bubble bath but with a fizz. They can be bought in a variety of shapes and are made from baking soda generally and citric acid and a mix of essential oils to impart a particular scent and feel. The beauty though about bath bombs is that when dissolving within the bath it releases citric acid which fizzes up and helps loosen damaged layers of skin. Plus the oils used in bath bombs also tend to be super moisturizing and the hydrating oils will leave your skin feeling soft and supple.

The Bath Fairy bath bombs are a must though if like me you love a relaxing time and fun in the bath as their bath bombs are unique, fun and quirky plus last longer than other leading brands. I was kindly gifted a few bath bombs courtesy of the founder of The Bath Fairy.

The Bath Fairy

The Bath Fairy is a brand new cosmetic company which has hit the UK market supplying bath bombs, soaps and salts.

All their bath bombs are all handmade and each are unique, come with their own scent and colour, which provides a magical bath experience.

The salts on sale are infused with their own unique blend of essential oils, which provide a wide range of health benefits.

All of their products are:

  • 100% handmade
  • Cruelty free
  • Vegan friendly

Soak, relax and rejuvenate

Taking a bath is a great way to chill but why are baths good to take?

  • Baths can delay aging – why? as baths help lower cortisol levels in the body, a stress hormone which increases acne and induces premature aging.
  • Baths relieve sore muscles – applying heat to inflamed or sore muscles can help them to relax and promote the recovery process.
  • Baths can lower blood sugar levels – a hot bath can reduce your blood sugar levels
  • Baths can help you lose weight – sitting in a bath can burn an average 126 calories an hour
  • Baths are good for your heart health – can help lower blood pressure, decrease stress on the heart and the cardiovascular system.

Sitting in a bath though can be boring but it doesn’t have to be. Put on some music or even grab a magazine / book and read within a cosy warm bath. However what makes a bath that extra special and fun is a good bath bomb as they provide much fun, from the noise they make, the fizzing sensation, colour and scent.

The Bath Fairy sell a great range all of which are handmade, vegan friendly and cruelty free, plus they sell soaps and salts.

Scrolling through the website there are plenty of unique bath bombs to choose however I opted for the Lucky Duck Bath Bomb, Hatch a Dinosaur, Over the Rainbow and Star Bath Bomb. Each so unique in style, colour, and scent but each provide a very relaxing rejuvenating bath experience.

Why do I love bath bombs so much, well….

  • I love listening to a bath bombs fizz
  • the smell it lets off
  • watching the colours spread throughout the water
  • waiting for that end surprise element it may have

What makes The Bath Fairy though my new best bath bomb supplier is that their bath bombs seem to last a lot longer than other bath bombs I have had from other brands. Plus they are harder so don’t crumble away whilst sitting on a shelf. Also their bath bombs are more affordable starting from just £3.50 each.

Lucky Duck Bath Bomb – Quack quack, said this duck as my bath water turned blue.

Hatch a Dinosaur – which dinosaur will be hatched from my egg?

Over the Rainbow – raining colours of the rainbow. Make a wish.

Star Bath Bomb – Stars, stars and more stars. Can you see a star constellation form?

Which bath bomb takes your fancy?

Verdict

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The Bath Fairy bath bombs provided much fun. They look stunning, colourful and smell amazing. Each provided a very fun but yet rejuvenating bath time experience. So if you love a fizz, colour and surprise during your bath time then I highly recommend The Bath Fairy products.

All their products are CPSR approved. However note if you have sensitive skin or allergies limonene, linalool, and sodium lauryl sulphate can cause irritation to the skin. Plus some bath bombs contain almond oil so if you have a nut allergy be aware.

So if you are looking for a longer lasting bath bomb experience I highly recommend The Bath Fairy.
