I found the whole ballpit experience before I even entered quite exciting as I was wondering how deep it would be to dive in as I wanted to do the infamous Scroodge McDuck dive into it all.

For a tiny space there sure has a lot of balls and we found out it was the deepest (above waist height) out of any they have set up.

For a small spaced container the room was actually quite cool in temperature which was great (considering it was 33 degrees out that day!) but when you got under the balls obviously you could feel the heat. It was sometimes difficult getting up from underneath and I needed a helping hand.

I think it was great fun. I think it would be even better if the ceiling was higher so you could do a proper jump up into it all. And even another ledge on the other far side as currently it’s only the one side on entrance. The fun bit for me was definitely jumping in though we all had a good time throwing and splashing around in them.

30 minutes is the perfect amount of time. It would be interesting to see it as glow in the dark at night as I heard they have something like that. That effect may increase the atmosphere in there. 5/6 max people is best for there and I think that’s what they do. It had good music too which was cool.

All in all a good experience and would definitely recommend anyone trying out if they got offered the chance to.

I can not express how much fun it is to throw yourself around in the pit and disappear under the thousands of balls.

Do you ever feel like throwing yourself into an ocean of balls? Yeah, me too, and at Ballie Ballerson you can do just that! Relive your fondest childhood memories of throwing colourful plastic balls at your friends, and your less fond memories of them throwing balls at you. £10 for 30 minutes of nostalgia and cool Instagram photos. The DJ there is actually really good and they have done a great job decorating the place! #Balleeerr
