Treats Club brings to Old Street sweet homemade doughnuts

Love doughnuts? then you will love Treats Club doughnuts which are all lovingly homemade, sold online and at markets. For a short time Treat Club has popped up at Old Street Roundabout where you will be able to indulge on many different sweet doughnuts.

I was gifted two doughnuts to taste and dazzle up with many of the toppings on offer.

Treats Club are a premium dessert specialist who specialise in doughnuts and ice cream.

Female owned and run by black girl magic, they have built a brand which focuses on quality over everything. Launched in November 2018 at Chatsworth Road Market, they have been bringing Londoners joy with her doughnuts (and now ice cream!) ever since.

All their doughnuts are made and baked at home even their jams, toppings and sauces.

Dinner is Coming – The throne will be mine

I, my Lord Steve and Ladies Charlotte and Ana of Love Pop Ups London we were cordially invited Dinner is Coming at The Vaults in Waterloo, London. We were there to join in the wedding festivities of King Jaffery Bearathon to whom he was marrying Margarine of Trywell.

Decisions, decisions – The Pudding Kitchen

The Pudding Kitchen by luxury pudding brand Pots & Co. popped up in London Soho just for two days (1-2 June) to showcase their products and newest puds.

As I love desserts as soon as I heard about this pop up and with it being Pots & Co. which is my favourite pudding makers I just had to book up straight away.  I went along on their first day and session with my friend Marcus to experience the delights of what they had to offer during their two day pop up.

Great cheese balls of pleasure – Dona Rita Pão de Queijo

Dona Rita Pão de Queijo pop up stand

Dona Rita Pão de Queijo products are not to be missed.  Pão de Queijo means in English Brazilian cheese balls. The pop-up stand in which you can buy them from direct and eat freshly cooked is based at Old Street underground station (until 25 November 2017) so be quick. If you do miss this pop up though you can buy online.

They looked, tasted delicious and certainly were cheese balls of delight.  So fluffy and cheesy. To me they tasted a bit like choux pastry but with a much fluffier, spongy inside and cheesy. Continue reading

Get sprinkled not bedazzled at easyJet popup – Café van der Sprinkles

easyJet partnered up with the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions, to transport the people of London on a journey to Holland to experience a taste of Dutch happiness along with a selection of sweet delights supplied by the Meringue Girls through their inspired pop up Café van der Sprinkles. The popup landed a day early for press and bloggers to experience first hand on Thursday 21st October but be quick before it fly’s away as it will only be open officially from Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th September between 11:00 – 17:00 then it will fly off. Jacobs opened a one-off cracker pop up (Jabobs Cracker Pop Up Restaurant) for two days only (21 and 22 June) along with musician, foodie and cheesemaker Alex James. Can I lick my own face? – Candy Mechanics: Lolpops

Candy Mechanics: Lolpops pop-up popped up in Covent Garden this May (25-28 May 2017).

Candy Mechanics: Lolpop has for a very limited time got a pop-up store based in Covent Garden where they are letting customers buy their face made in either white, milk or dark chocolate. So you really now can lick your face and eat it. Continue reading

Beautiful lush heavenly scented products – Button & Wilde

Button & Wilde was a pop up shop that popped up in London for just two days in 2017.  Firstly I love their lovely cute logo of a hedgehog and a squirrel so adorable.  The pop up shop of theirs was decorated out beautifully with a painting of a pink blossom tree and cones of a tree hanging around and some plant foliage laid around here and there between the productions they were selling.  The smell also as you went inside is so lush it really does make you feel like you are in a field of flowers and citrus fruits.  Continue reading

Pop Up celebrity chef event – Whole Foods: Skrei cod night with Michel Roux

Whole Foods for one day only put on a pop up about Skrei cod presented and cooked by the Michel Roux Jr. a famous Michelin starred London chef.

Whole Foods is like a big market which sell various food such rice, nuts, fresh vegetables, fish, crockery, etc. Upstairs there are several restaurants selling all kinds of food and cuisine from hot pulled pork sandwiches to Chinese.

Skrei Supper Club event with Michel Roux Jr.

Certain times throughout the year Whole Foods lay on special events.  I went along to the Skrei Supper Club one that was hosted by the great Michel Roux Jr. who is a Michelin starred chef. Continue reading
