Professor BlackSheep hits back again one final time to try and destroy mankind as we know it by turning us all into sheep! However this time he is not alone as he has a evil side kick by his side in which together they have built a dangerous device called ‘the SheepMutator’.

Mr Q believes that the new technology used by the Professor poses a serious threat: by mutating the human genome, the SheepMutator can turn anyone who is in the range on its evil rays into a placid sheep! To make matters worse, the Professor has managed to set up several such devices in key locations around the planet – one of them having been set up right here, in London.

It was up to Love Pop Ups London to become agents for the night and help locate and deactivate the devices before they go online all which had to be achieved within 60 minutes.

clueQuest have three escape rooms in total PLAN52, OperationBlackSheep and Revenge of the Sheep it is best to be played in order as their is a story from start to finish.

Third time still the charm. Baaaaack for the 3rd time this time playing Revenge of the Sheep.

Once again this room is full of diverse and inventive puzzles. Some easy, some mind buggling but all good fun to solve.

I highly recommend you come here and play all rooms in order it really shows you how progressive and creative at clueQuest is!!!

I’ll be back when a new room will be available!!!

The Revenge of the Black Sheep, This is very tough escape the room, with a lot of differing puzzles you need to try and solve that are slightly outside the box. The clues can be worked out, out of order so it does work well for around a team of 6 to split up and work on separate things.

I enjoyed this puzzle, however it was frustrating when you were stuck, however the team were very helpful with cryptic clues.

This puzzle had a wide range of puzzles and locks and even interactive tasks to complete, which differentiated this from the rest of the games.

If you like escape rooms and feel you’re on the higher intermediate- professional level then this is defiantly a game for you.

I came back for the third time to do Revenge of the Sheep after having done Operation Blacksheep and Plan 52. They say that this was the hardest amongst the 3 and I do certainly agree! I marvel at the inventiveness and novelty of the puzzles and the props are very very cool! You can see that such effort is taken to keep you into the game. This room is not one that you need to escape from. However, you do need to deactivate the sheep mutation device that will turn all humans into sheep in 60 minutes!

They start you off in a very small room, so I advise that you know or have worked with the people you are in the room with. The whole experience was very challenging, but when you figure it out, it’s very cool. You also will be using some AR puzzles as well as a few cool physical puzzles so anyone handy with those, you want to recruit on your team. A couple of puzzles need at least 3 people to work on it at the same time, or 2 if you’re very very good, so I would suggest teamwork all the way. I would advise to have done a few escape rooms with the team you’re going in with and have a diverse set of skills within the team to have as many AHA moments as possible! Very good fun and will return if they open a new room.

clueQuests final game in the 3 part series ends with some amazing puzzles. Hi-tech, colourful, clever and varied. It is really difficult though so prepared for a tricky one. I’m annoyed we didn’t manage to escape!

Frustratingly their 4th game is soon to be released so I have to go back again 🙂

Back to clueQuest for the final chapter: Revenge of the Sheep.

The bar was set pretty high after how amazing the last one was… And it did not disappoint!

The story was particularly fun and there was a lot at stakes:
the fate of humanity was between our hands!!!

We saved the world at the last second! Proof this room was challenging enough for people who have already done multiple escape games before, which is an excellent thing.

Great fun once again, the puzzles were very varied and unique, the props were also interesting, our host Far was brilliant (as always). I can’t wait for the new room to open!

This was my third go in Clue quest and I have to say it was my best! Not in terms of getting out in time (didn’t come close) but in creativity.

I loved the second room and what it involved. It was so creative and fun. Without ruining it for you, there is some very smart technology that went into this, some of it put a huge smile on my face. I need excitement to keep me interested. The first room was dull but had some creative puzzles. The second room is where things really got great.

Overall a fun escape room, even after three from clue quest, they have managed to keep things interesting. Rumour is that there is a fourth in the works as well!

Displayed as one of their hardest games, I found this room both intellectually challenging and which contains stuff I’ve never seen before in other escape rooms. Both unusual and challenging but not too difficult, this requires logic and really thinking unusually out of the box, and entertaining different ways you can approach a problem. Our team worked brilliantly together. Everyone’s strengths played so well and even with a mixture of newbies and experienced players it moulded together successful because the different perspectives of what people looked for meant no stone was left unturned. I’ve played one of their other games before and with a collection of escape room achievements under my belt, I have to say this room sits at one of my top 5 escapes!!

A lovely bonus was a photo magnet given to us at the end! Defo one of London’s many activities to do for memory sake!

Baaaaaaaah baaa! This fun filled escape room contains puzzles which will leave your mind boggled! Only with a combination of grit, determination and good old fashioned teamwork, will you defeat the sheep and disable the device. Our team with a mixture of pros and newbies battled against the odds and escaped.. Not a mean feat at all!
We were given a lovely memoir of our success – a fridge magnet with a team photo.. so we can never forget the day we defeated the sheep! Go team!!

Back for more secret agent adventures at clueQuest with the lovepopupslondon team. This time I got the chance to take on the “Revenge Of The Sheep” room. clueQuest states this is their hardest room. Having only completed Plan52 here, I was a little bit worried, but my team mates had more experience

On our arrival our host was Jamie, and even at 7pm in the evening after probably giving the speech multiple times, he still gave an enthusiastic intro.

“Professor BlackSheep is back again to destroy mankind as we know it by turning us all into sheep! And this time he is not alone – he’s got an evil side-kick and together they have built a dangerous device: the SheepMutator.”
Our mission – 60 minutes to stop everyone from turning into sheep, baaa!

The room starts off small, you soon realise that there’s more to come (so much more!). I found the rooms really engaging and it contained some hi-tech elements using augmented reality that really immerse you in the room.

The puzzles are not completely linear, meaning that different members could work on different things, or switch around if stuck. Hints are given on the video screen or through the walkie-talkies, which was useful when we were a little stuck. Skills in observation, listening and just good poking around are all required here. On the time it was extremely close, and we baaarely saved everyone from becoming literal sheep (we had a generous host!).

clueQuest is one of the more souvenir stocked places (photos, fridge magnets and even mugs). We got a lovely photo and fridge magnet to take home.

I would say if you are a beginner to escape games, it may be best to work your way up with the other rooms (PLAN:52 and Operation Blacksheep) as I did find this a toughie, but it’s definitely one of the top escape rooms in London.

  10. Jason Mortlock says:

This was my 2nd time at ClueQuest’s amazing escape rooms in North London (Caledonian Road) and I must say this has to be my favorite of the 2 ‘Revenge of The Sheep’. Again like previous Escape Room reviews I can’t give too much away as after you’ve read these reviews you might spoil it for yourself so what I can say is that image Dr Who’s Tardis, you start off small then after successfully cracking the first room you end up in a much larger room with the roller shutters raising up I was ready an eager to go go go baaaaarmy in the next room so ducking and rushing in it felt like waiting for the shutters to open in large department stores on black Friday’s or major SALES, but at least it’s only with you and your team mates and not thousands of shoppers pushing and shoving you!.

So into to next much larger room, plenty of things to get looking for and and this was even more fantastic then it could ever be as this room had an ipad for interaction with some clues, baaaabrilliant use of modern technology integrated into the escape room, let’s hope more escape rooms follow the trend. overall if you have done the other 2 rooms in the series then you can’t afford to miss the finale of this great escape room series, so just like Shaun, leap on over to their website and book today!
