The Big London Bake you’ll have a scarily good time

This October The Big London Bake have gone all Halloween with their Sugar Skull Cake Month.

On a complimentary basis I Steve was invited down on a complimentary basis along with my friend to get into the spooky spirit for this Halloween in the The Big London Bake tent to make a cake of a Dia de Muertos (skull).

Set within a tent in the back of The Castle at Tooting you can take on the challenge and bake but will you be victorious and be the star baker?

There are ten cooking stations set within the tent each accommodating two people. You’ll be provided an apron, cooking essentials and the ingredients for the bake.

With just 90 minutes to bake the pressure was on for this ultimate baking extravaganza.

Every night The Big London Bake will be lending a helping hand to bakers be it to bake cupcakes or a pavlova will you be Star Baker of the night or will you end up with a soggy bottom?

Art Sippers is all about having fun, sipping on drink be it beer or wine, partying to music and of course painting!

Elliot and Josie are a creative and dynamic couple who have worked in the events and promotions sector for over 15 years combined. Successfully running nationwide pop-up stores and product launches for various well-known brands.​

In 2019 Josie was made redundant but instead of it affecting her well-being and mental health she and Elliot decided to come up with their own pop up business adventure Art Sippers. ​

Their vision is to relieve people of their daily stress and anxiety through engaging, social, art events.

Fox in a Box locked me up in their prison but I escaped

I was thrown into Fox in a Box prison and had just 60 minutes to escape before being locked up for life for my crime for my love of escape rooms.

I went along with some other members of Love Pop Ups London to play Fox in a Box head to head escape room called Prison Break.

Fox in a Box is a franchise who provide escape rooms within 30 countries around the world. This one in Dalston, London is the first one to open up recently in the UK.

They offer at present three escape rooms:

Prison Break
You are sentenced to life in a maximum security prison. With all appeal requests denied, your only path to freedom is to escape. A sudden riot provides the perfect opportunity.

Journey at Chelsea Funhouse and enjoy a culinary feast plus meet a champagne puking unicorn

Lollipop’s newest adventure Journey which is set within West London’s Chelsea Funhouse brings a variety of entertainment over three floors which guests will enjoy a variety of food, drink and entertainment. I was invited along with my partner to enjoy a preview night which was open for Seb’s friends and family. Seb is the owner of Lollipop and has bought to London many thrilling experiences such as ABQ providing drinkers a cocktail making experience like no other in a RV van and The Bunyadi where you dine naked. Journey is his newest popped up adventure which this time will take diners on a gastronomic food journey around the world.

Cinnamon Kitchen is one of the restaurants within under the Cinnamon Club by Vivek Singh.

Located in Battersea London this all-day dining restaurant gives diners an exciting, contemporary Indian menus which use quality and seasonal ingredients. There is a wide array of dishes to choose from their a la carte menu such as grills, tasting plates and curries as well as interesting vegetarian options. They also have reasonably priced two & three course set menus giving diners a great choice of Indian cuisine at a great price.

Play Dead London A Deadly Dose within the Old Operating Theatre London

It was a dull dreary wet Friday evening and a murder had taken place so an autopsy was required at the Old Operating Theatre, with the investigation on the way with Play Dead London detectives on the case. For one night Daggers Productions gave keen amateur detectives a night of murder to solve within the Old Operating Theatre.

On a complimentary gifted basis I and Bianca we took our souls and minds back to 1879 to try and help solve what happened to Mr Jacob John Canning which was fittingly held at the with the Old Operating Theatre.

Play Dead London was created back in April 2018 by Creator and Artistic Director, Emma Crocombe. Emma came up with setting up her own murder mystery productions when she helped fund raise for a murder mystery event within Bangalore for Limited Resources Teacher Training. From there she then set up her own murder mystery company along with her talented friends.

She brings to London numerous murder mysteries all set within unique locations giving the plays a real air and soul to them.

Definitely Blue Café by Bompas & Parr popped up to solve the debate of if the innocent Bolt juice is blue?

Following the hotly-debated launch of innocent’s Bolt from the Blue, innocent in partnership with Bompas & Parr opened it’s doors to Definitely Blue Café within London’s Neal Street to prove once and for all that their drink is in fact definitely blue.

The juice sparked a massive debate on Twitter with almost 4,000 innocent fans challenging innocent on the true colour of their drink Bolt. innocent remained firm in their stance though that their drink is definitely blue, despite thousands of comments from the public insisting it was green.

I was invited down to see what I thought.

innocent started back in 1999 selling smoothies at a music festival. After having such a great response from consumers the founders quit jobs and set up innocent as a business.
