Hellbent hellishly delicious meat

Do you love Irish meat and African spice? Yes? then you’ll love Hellbent who produce tasty sausages, meatballs and burgers which use meat from Ireland and are combined with seasoning from South Africa. Plus produce is all made using an old traditional African recipe giving their meat a unique taste.

On a courtesy basis I was gifted PR samples of their sausages, meatballs and burgers to try, cook and taste at home all of which tasted hellishly delicious.

Hellbent

Hellbent founder Schalk brings to the market boerewors. Their meat is made using a 100 year old South African recipe, using top quality Irish meat and a combination of South African flavours together. There is no added gluten and rusk. High in protein and hellishly delicious.

Chillin n Grillin on a Skuna BBQ Boat

Love BBQ’s? then you’ll love Skuna BBQ Boats. Sail down the waters of Canary Wharf and enjoy grilling meat whilst taking in the views of Canary Wharf.

I was invited on a courtesy basis by Tommo along with some other community members of Love Pop Ups London to enjoy a trip on their new BBQ Boats.

Skuna

Skuna formally was known as HotTug UK but recently they have changed their name to reflect from where they originally saw the Hot Tubs and to welcome their new BBQ Boats.

Tommo and Jack are the owners of Skuna and they all brought the unique experience of hot tugging down the waters of London when they saw and fell in love with the Hot Tugs in Holland which are designed by Frank de Bruijn. So after a fund raising campaign and exceeding their target they then opened their business here in London back in July 2017.

BBQ cooking made easy – Weber Pulse pop up

Weber is celebrating it’s BBQ season and in collaboration with celebrity chef Simon Rimmer. Weber has turned an old style London double decker bus into a mobile pop-up restaurant.  They are touring Europe’s cities and made a brief stop in London’s Kings Cross (Pancras Square) from 10th to 13th May.  Tickets costing £43.00 each it was a bargain not to be missed.

Weber Pulse bus

Lucky guests who booked quickly like me dined on the top deck of the double decker bus. We learnt about Weber products by Dan whilst Simon Rimmer gave us a demonstration.

If you did not get a spot in time or you just did not fancy dining on top of the bus then you could always still learn more about Weber’s new Pulse BBQ which was set around the bus outside.  The guys from Weber demonstrated how to cook on the Weber Pulse grills along with providing some tasty samples of food from pizza to steak.
