Shiver me timbers, set designers Bompas and Parr have joint forces with Captain Morgan to give Londoners a nautical adventure to an underground paradise of the Lost Lagoon.
For three months from the beginning of February 2019 until early April, buccaneers will be able to discover a secret island within a secret location in central London to take a journey of wonder on the largest underground lake in the UK.
I was invited on a complimentary basis to adventure through Bompas and Parr’s latest part immersive theatre part bar experience with another buccaneer of my choosing so I just had to have my bestie Steve join me as to keep me safe from them pirates.

The event took place at Block 336 in Brixton and we were led to an immersive 2 hour journey into a world of gluttony, greed and excess leading us into a sensory experience, ritualistic in eating practices and fortune telling and so much more.
Bompas & Parr in summer 2017 held a unique event in both Westfield Centres in London called the Future Forest for a short run. The event was also completely free in both centres to attend with no pre-booking required. Future Forest was all about exploring the relationship between humans and nature through a very fun and adventurous way.

Bompas & Parr 10th Anniversary Party really knows how to lay on good events and boy do they know how to lay on a party for it really was epic and so wacky.
They are celebrating their 10th anniversary and to do this they combined their party with their latest current retrospective exhibition Tongue Town which is at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art in Brazil. This runs from June – August 2017.
Temple of the Tongue is an installation of art set in their central London studio designed to complement a major retrospective exhibition, Tongue Town, now open at the Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Brazil.
This is the first time that the studio’s in Bermondsey home has opened it’s doors in which the public for four days (19-22 June) can get behind the scenes and explore their factory in where they work and create their amazing creations from jellies to exploding wedding cake. Continue reading
