Art Play London where you can learn a new skill

Art Play London hosts a number of different fun classes for children and adults where you can learn a new skill.

What is crafting though? Well it is a hobby on anything which you can create using your hands be it painting, decorating a cake, making greeting cards, making jewellery and so much more.

Crafts is great as it is very therapeutic. Helps with your mind, body and soul. It has been said that creating things with your own hands leaves you happier, gets your body moving, helps you relax and helps clears your mind.

Art Play kindly invited me to attend one of their classes in which I chose to go along to one of their Terrarium masterclasses as I love plants and gardening but never made a Terrarium before.

What type of crafts do you enjoy the most?

Art Play London

Art Play London was founded by Silva Castellani in 2018, which initially started out as a pop-up event around London. In February 2022 she set up a permanent venue which is based in Shoreditch

At Art Play London you choose from an array of creative workshops which are set up for children and adults. Within any masterclass you will be able to learn a new skill, as well as have fun, all whilst making new friends.

Pottd get potty and create ever lasting memories

I love to get crafty at home as it is fun but also great for wellness. When I discovered about Pott’d People I was super excited as looking at their videos via Instagram and surfing through their website it gave me lots of creative ideas.

Pottery to me really does relax me and take my mind of things but it also at the same time lets me release my creativity. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and helps boost my own self-confidence and resilience after creating anything. Even though my pottery skills are not A1 as I am a novice after all it’s something that I made from scratch and something for me to be proud of.

I was kindly gifted courtesy of Pott’d People for an honest review.

Pott’d

Pott’d was launched back in 2021 by couple Frankie and Sascha.

They love pottery and hence want everyone else to fall in love with pottery so they decided to put together pottery boxes with easy instructions within each box. To them pottery is not just fun but also great for mental health as it lets you disconnect from the world and channel your inner artist.

MasterPeace brings craft fun to London

MasterPeace brings craft fun to London. Throughout the year they host a number of classes from painting to felt pumpkin making.

With nights getting darker though and the looming possibility of black outs which might happen this Winter due to a countrywide potential energy issue the one thing that we all need will be candles. Even though there are plenty of candles out there in the market to buy have you ever though wondered how scented candles are made? With Masterpeace you can find out how by attending their Inhale, Exhale Beginner Candle Making Class. You will learn the history of candles, and even get to make your very own scented candle.

Candles are not just great though for light, but also for scenting your house, for romantic occasions and to reflect on the lost of loved ones.

I was invited courtesy of MasterPeace to attend their very first candle making class in which they showed me how easy candle making is and how therapeutic it can be.

MasterPeace

MasterPeace is based in London’s and is the first dedicated mindful art experience!

“At MasterPeace, we practice mindfulness through painting. It’s not about how ‘good’ you are. It’s about enjoying a moment of creative calm in an always-on world. So build a little creativity into your routine and see what happens when you paint yourself an even better picture.”

by MasterPeace
