Firewall attack – clueQuest: cQ ORIGENES

Heading into London and feeling a bit like a sheep standing on the tube I headed to clueQuest to play their newest escape room cQ ORIGENES.

I was invited down courtesy of clueQuest to write up along with some others from Love Pop Ups London community on their latest room.

Throughout my blog I will try not to give too much away but there could be some potential spoilers so be warned before reading any further.

clueQuest

clueQuest has four escape rooms. Each room has a specific theme, storyline and difficulty rating.

Ghostly going ons – Mission Breakout The Lost Passenger

Escape rooms are fun but even more so when there is a real history to the place and a true story which Mission Breakout does just that.

All Mission Breakout’s escape rooms are based around true events which happened in this old abandoned South Kentish Town tube station. Continue reading

What happened to Lavinia? – Modern Fables

Arriving at South Bermondsey the first challenge was to find Modern Fables.  Hidden away behind the backstreets and dark poorly lit alleys of South London we all eventually found the warehouse in where Modern Fables resided.  By this point I was already a little scared and tensed out.

Modern Fables

Before the adventure

Upon discovering Modern Fables and entering the warehouse I noticed at the end of the corridor was a projection screen showing old black and white very bizarre eccentric film clips. Here are a few which were shown. Continue reading

The other day I went along to yes you guessed it by the photo above yet another Escape Room in London and when I thought I’d had my list of top 5 Escape Rooms in my head clueQuest Revenge of the Sheep has had to make me rethink about my top 5 as this one is most certainly now one of them.

“Bah ram yu” is not the password to escape – clueQuest: OperationBlackSheep

clueQuest OperationBlackSheep is my second game to play at clueQuest as the other week I played PLAN52 which was great.

clueQuest OperationBlackSheep

This one did not disappointment again. This escape room was a challenging and yet exciting one. It had a vast array of puzzles from lock cracking, code cracking and puzzles.  Team effort is certainly required in this one to disarm the rocket in time.  It is also essential that all elements are placed in the correct order at the end to solve the final Continue reading

Immerse yourself into another Land – Escape Land

I went along tonight and had the pleasure to play both games Professor Oxfords Experiments and Da Vincis Exploration at Escape Land in Oxford Street, London. I went along with some of the community of ‘Love Pop Ups London’ to play both games.

Each room you can have up to six players and it is your mission to escape within 60 minutes and to do that you have to fight your way through by solving and cracking many puzzles and mysteries. Escape rooms are most certainly the most best way to have fun with family, friends or colleagues and a great time in team building. Continue reading

Baaarilliant escape room – clueQuest PLAN52

I went along courtesy of clueQuest to play the PLAN52 and I really was highly surprised in how much fun it was. There are quite a few different type rooms you can play at the clueQuest location. We chose to play PLAN52 as this is the first escape room that is recommended to play at clueQuest as this is the first part of an on-going story that carries on throughout all the other escape rooms in which you can play.
