Escape or Die – Breakin Escape Rooms

Myself and other bloggers from Love Pop Ups London community went along to Breakin Escape Rooms the other day to experience one of their many escape rooms. They have various ones from Blackwing’s Cave, Sherlock’s Despair, The Flying Dutchman, War on Horizon Alpha, Butcher’s Lair and Heist Plan. I chose along with others to play Butcher’s Lair for it’s horror factor as we all like horror.

Breakin Escape Rooms Butcher’s Lair

We went along and played Butcher’s Lair which is an escape room based on a fictional serial killer Dr Vladimir Knifesblade. Most certainly an escape room for any horror fan.

Will Lady Chastity spook you? – Handmade Mysteries: Lady Chastity

Lady Chastity game can be played in four different locations (three in London and one in Brighton). I went along with some other bloggers from Love Pop Ups London community to play the game of Lady Chastity at their newest venue which is set in The Hope pub in Farringdon.

The Hope Pub

Firstly this is a lovely small pub with a bar area downstairs and restaurant/bar area upstairs. I went and sat upstairs to have a pie. All their pies are from the famous award winning Pieminster. Continue reading

Let’s save home and country – Escape Plan: The Battle for Britain

Escape Plan is a live escape experience is themed around World War II and I must admit upon entering into the room I felt like I had been transported back to 1945 with all the props and the music/sounds that was playing through the speakers elevating through the whole room. The story is that we are in the depths of August 1940 and the Luftwaffe have launched a resurgent attack on Britain and we are the only survivors in the bombed airbase that we are situated in. “Bah ram yu” is not the password to escape – clueQuest: OperationBlackSheep

clueQuest OperationBlackSheep is my second game to play at clueQuest as the other week I played PLAN52 which was great.

clueQuest OperationBlackSheep

This one did not disappointment again. This escape room was a challenging and yet exciting one. It had a vast array of puzzles from lock cracking, code cracking and puzzles.  Team effort is certainly required in this one to disarm the rocket in time.  It is also essential that all elements are placed in the correct order at the end to solve the final Continue reading

Immerse yourself into another Land – Escape Land

I went along tonight and had the pleasure to play both games Professor Oxfords Experiments and Da Vincis Exploration at Escape Land in Oxford Street, London. I went along with some of the community of ‘Love Pop Ups London’ to play both games.

Each room you can have up to six players and it is your mission to escape within 60 minutes and to do that you have to fight your way through by solving and cracking many puzzles and mysteries. Escape rooms are most certainly the most best way to have fun with family, friends or colleagues and a great time in team building. Continue reading

Other World Escapes

The owner Gareth was very welcoming and has made this whole new escape room by himself with more rooms with different stories to be added.  His present escape room Mayan Temple and his future ones will put all your senses to the challenge, Continue reading

An explosive escape room – Mission: Breakout

Mission: Breakout is an exceptional real-life escape game that is based in the borough of Camden in Central London. It is a fully immersive game that takes place in South Kentish Town’s old disused tube station which closed back in 1924.

Mission: Breakout

The Ghost Tube Station

Upon going down the stairs to the escape room we came across old black and white photographs showing people that used this underground station as a shelter when World War II was happening. The photos made me feel emotionally sad inside and made me think back to how people must of felt back then in that era when the bombs were going off.
