Could I be better than Hermione in the School of Magic at London Escaped

I love magic and have always been fascinated about how magicians make things disappear or appear with a flip here and snap there. So I was excited when I got the opportunity courtesy of London Escaped to test my magic skills within their School of Magic which is designed for children.

London Escaped

London Escaped provides fans of escape rooms very atmospheric games filled with technology.

At present they have six games Prisoner, Da Vinci, Vampire Slayer, School of Magic, White Walker and Wizards Cup with a new one on the way.

Like all other escape rooms the mission is to hunt for items, find clues, solve puzzles and to beat escape within 60 minutes.

Humanity as we know it has gone! – Omescape saving Huxley

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel forward in time when machines have taken over the world and humanity as we knew it was gone?  Well with Omescape latest virtual reality (VR) game Huxley you can do just that.

With VR becoming more and more popular these days me and some other enthusiastic escape room players from Love Pop Ups London we were super keen in stepping into the year 3007 AD on a complimentary basis to give our feedback.

Are you sceptical about VR escape rooms because you have done static VR games before and never thought much about the quality of realism? Well don’t be as even though I and some others have done static VR games before this walk around one really will surprise you with it’s mind blowing graphics.

With this VR experience you will be experiencing the latest new technology used by Omescape. No longer will you sit in a chair and navigate through virtual space with some hand motions or a controller that feels like you are just playing on your computer console. This one you can manoeuvre and walk around and you’ll even feel as wind is blowing against you really making you feel you are in the situation. Continue reading

Phobos-17 has landed – Mostly Harmless Games

Mostly Harmless Games returns with a new game Phobos-17 which is the sequel to their The Lifeboat escape room.

Phobos-17 is an abandoned Russian vessel which can be found hidden within the Artworks in Elephant & Castle.

Mostly Harmless

Mostly Harmless was created by a bunch of actors, designers and games nerds who met at Crystal Maze experience.

Their first project was The Lifeboat which set sail earlier on this year at the Vaults Festival with it being a sell out towards the end of it’s run and bagging an award for Innovation along the way.

Phobos-17 is a continuation of that journey all packed with thrills in a twelve metre long shipping container! Continue reading
