Gino, Gino, Gino! – WeFiFo: Gino D’Acampo event

Gino held a special event along with WeFiFo the other day and it was FANTASTICO!

Many of the other community members of ‘Love Pop Ups – London’ have had the pleasure to attend many of WeFiFo’s various supperclubs in the past courtesy of me and them (read their blogs/vlogs via clicking here) but this time it was my turn. I paid for my experience though as when I saw Gino’s special event being advertised I immediately wanted to secure my spot as I am a massive fan of Gino D’Acampo. However regardless of that any WeFiFo supperclub event is worth every penny as they are all so unique and special.  Continue reading

Drink, drink and more drink – The Spirit Show, London

I went along to the press afternoon of The Spirit Show which was held at the Business Design Centre (1-2 December 2017) in which I took along my blogger friend Kim (see her blog by clicking here). Press events are great as attending those sessions are much quieter which in turn makes it easier and more leisurely to browse around all the stalls, instead of trying to keep on pushing pass everyone to sample a drink or two or to have a discussion with the sellers/owners.

Be dazzled – Magical Lantern Winter 2017

Magical Lantern is a great way to start the festivities off this Winter as it certainly makes me feel full of joy and gets me in a festive spirit as I am sure it will do for many others.

It returns for it’s third year (24 Nov 2017 – 1 Jan 2018) to the lovely grounds of Chiswick House & Gardens in London this time with the supposedly theme of Christmas. The nearest stations are Turnham Green station and Chiswick Overground station. Entry to Magical Lantern for an adult costs £14.00 weekday and £15.50 during the weekend. For children it costs £10 weekday and £11.50 during the weekend (prices correct at the time). Continue reading

Chocolate heaven – Pierre Marcolini chocolate pop up

Today I attended Pierre Marcolini chocolate pop up event at Carousel in Marylebone, to see Pierre Marcolini latest winter festive collection.  To be honest I have never heard of Pierre Marcolini before or of his chocolates which surprises me as I am a fan of chefs, bakers and chocolatiers. So I was thrilled to go along to this event to learn more about him and sample his chocolates. Unfortunately when I went along he was not around to meet as he visited earlier on in the day.  So I spoke to one of his apprentices which I learnt more about this amazing chocolatier Pierre Marcolini. Future Forest was all about exploring the relationship between humans and nature through a very fun and adventurous way.

Bompas & Parr: Future Forest in Shepherds Bush

I went along to the Future Forest one that was held in Shepherds Bush running from 15-28 August 2017. There was a fantastical fruit cloud, a mini exhibition showcasing plants that Continue reading

Have I travelled to France? – Bastille Day event at Brasserie Zedel

I went along to Brasserie Zedel to celebrate Bastille Day 14 July for the first time ever and I felt like I had been transported in a flash over to France with all the many people that were dressed in French attire from their striped Breton tops to berets and moustaches. Reason why everyone had dressed up was not just to celebrate the fact that is was Bastille Day but also all of us whom had dressed up and dawned our beret each received a three course meal with wine & coffee.
