A lantern trail of curiosity – Alice in Winterland

With my train being late I cried “I’m late, I’m late for a very important date” as I had a special invite to attend the press launch of Alice in Winterland Festival at Southwark Park along with some other community members of Love Pop Ups London.

This winter from 28th November 2018 to 5th January 2019, London becomes home to Alice in Winterland which is an enchanting new lantern festival adventure through the Golden Gates of Southwark Park and enter into the sparkling magical world of Winterland.

What does that taste like? – Taste of London

Taste of London returns this year which is a definitive showcase of the capital’s best restaurants, top chefs and leading food and drink brands.

But what is Taste?

Taste is an ultimate food lovers festival.  It occurs twice a year with their flagship which pops up in the summer in the stunning grounds of Regent’s Park in June for 5 days. Taste of London brings together the greatest and most exciting restaurants from London all into one space.  Guests will get to taste signature dishes, watch world-class chefs cook up a storm live on stage, listen to live bands, drink drinks from known London bars and there is even opportunities to get hands-on with interactive masterclasses and shop from an array of food and drink purveyors. Be dazzled – Magical Lantern Winter 2017

Magical Lantern is a great way to start the festivities off this Winter as it certainly makes me feel full of joy and gets me in a festive spirit as I am sure it will do for many others.

It returns for it’s third year (24 Nov 2017 – 1 Jan 2018) to the lovely grounds of Chiswick House & Gardens in London this time with the supposedly theme of Christmas. The nearest stations are Turnham Green station and Chiswick Overground station. Entry to Magical Lantern for an adult costs £14.00 weekday and £15.50 during the weekend. For children it costs £10 weekday and £11.50 during the weekend (prices correct at the time). Continue reading

Taste of Christmas returns to Tobacco Docks to showcase yet again what the capital has from it’s best restaurants, top chefs and leading food and drink brands.
