Pottd get potty and create ever lasting memories

I love to get crafty at home as it is fun but also great for wellness. When I discovered about Pott’d People I was super excited as looking at their videos via Instagram and surfing through their website it gave me lots of creative ideas.

Pottery to me really does relax me and take my mind of things but it also at the same time lets me release my creativity. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and helps boost my own self-confidence and resilience after creating anything. Even though my pottery skills are not A1 as I am a novice after all it’s something that I made from scratch and something for me to be proud of.

I was kindly gifted courtesy of Pott’d People for an honest review.

Pott’d

Pott’d was launched back in 2021 by couple Frankie and Sascha.

They love pottery and hence want everyone else to fall in love with pottery so they decided to put together pottery boxes with easy instructions within each box. To them pottery is not just fun but also great for mental health as it lets you disconnect from the world and channel your inner artist.

Jaques London learning made fun via play

Toys are always a must for children, as they do not just keep them entertained but toys are also a great way for kick starting them learning. Jaques London provide a great range of Montessori games and toys ideal for children from 2 year olds and up.

The beauty about Jaques London games and toys though are that not only do they sell a great range of fun and Montessori products most of their products are made using wood which to me is very nostalgic and certainly more special than plastic. Not only that wood is much better for the environment than plastic.

Did you know that wooden toys were first introduced back in the 1700s by a toymaker in Germany. At that time, wooden toys were often handmade for very special occasions, but it soon started to become popular across Europe in which then dolls and animals were started to be handmade from wood.

Montessori products are great for providing education for young children helping them develop natural interests and activities rather than use formal teaching methods. Montessori toys was developed by physician Maria Montessori. Maria was an Italian physician and educator best known for the philosophy of education, and her writing on scientific pedagogy.

I was kindly gifted a few of their products for my nephew who is only 2 and a half and he absolutely loved them. He was not even interested in the box after unwrapping unlike most kids, he just wanted to play with the items.

Jaques London

Jaques London have been going for 8 generations producing toy and games to families since 1795 which was founded by Thomas Jaques, whom was a farmer’s son of a French Huguenot descent.

He was a manufacturer in ivory, hardwoods, bone and Tunbridge Ware.

When John Jaques, his great grandson took over the company it started to gain a great reputation for games and this is how Jaques London begun.

Evolving over time the 1980s saw the resurgence of a mocktail movement with sugary drinks. Following the sophistication of cocktail culture of the 2000s, the zero proof drink became more refined.

Vemacity it’s gin o’clock after 96 hours

We are a nation of gin drinkers, and as a lover of gin myself, I and many others are naturally curious about how gin is made and flavoured. Thanks to Vemacity I learnt the basis of how to make a gin with botanicals at home. I never knew that gin started from infusing vodka with juniper berries for 48 hours before adding botanicals to flavour and infuse for yet another 48 hours. After 96 hours it then was soon gin o’clock time where I could celebrate with a lovely glass of my homemade flavoured gin within a balloon copa gin glass.

I was gifted on a courtesy basis from Vemacity their ultimate gin making kit and engraved gin glasses.

Vemacity

Vemacity was set up back in 2018 by two Londoner’s who loves gin and wants to spread the enjoyment of gin to all.

Their passion is to create a new way to experience gin and tonic through their products. There are so many incredibly delicious gins out there to discover and experiment with but they wanted was to bring a gin and tonic experience to all like no other. To them a great gin experience is anchored within the moment that you create around it. Time, effort, attention to detail and knowledge are equally as important when experiencing gin.

Vemacity brings to the world a new and interesting way to enjoy gin. They believe a great gin and tonic should be served the right way and engage all the senses. So, they set out to create specialist barware and gin gifts which elevates the experience of drinking gin at home.
