Ready to save the world again? Handmade Mysteries Operation Mindfall

Operation Mindfall is the most augmented reality outdoor hunting game to hit London turning all budding detectives saying “my name is Bond, (your name) Bond”.

Firstly let me give you top secret information about  Handmade Mysteries who provide some of the best escape rooms in London in my opinion.

Handmade Mysteries

Handmade Mysteries takes any escape room enthusiast into great live-action team adventure games which are full of mystery, colourful characters and ludicrously twisted puzzles.  With all their immersive escape rooms and street game experiences they provide fun fuelled challenges all whilst racing against the clock.

At present they have two escape rooms which can be played in several different locations across London and Brighton:

  • Lady Chasitity’s Reserve
This immersive experience challenges you and friends with an hour of hilarious clue solving as you attempt to win Chastity’s fabled aphrodisiac wine.  Click here to read our blogs/reviews when I and some others played their game a while back.
  • Poppa Plocks
This bonkers escape room full of  fun and silliness will take you back to your childhood with this 60 minute challenge by a twisted toy-maker Poppa Plock.  Click here to read our blogs/reviews when I and some others played their game a while back.

And their newest tech advanced outdoor game:

  • Operation Mindfall
Save the world from Spider Tech a terrorists organisation who wants to take over humanity

Escape room recommendations

Escape rooms have become more and more popular and elaborate with some bordering nearly on the immersive side. If you love solving puzzles and cracking clues then Escape rooms are certainly a unique fun thing to do with friends & family or even work colleagues for a social team building challenge. For those that have done escape rooms you will all know that they are very unique and challenging in their own rights.  If you have never done one I highly recommend you do so.

Still asking why play an escape room?

Well if you was like me when I was growing up I used to watch a 90’s television game show called The Crystal Maze and it involved lots of puzzles and challenges all to be done within a set time frame. I love puzzles and challenges so I always wanted to appear on it and be one of those contestants.  Plus I had a crush on Richard O’Brien. Alas though unfortunately I never did get the opportunity to play or appear on The Crystal Maze. However no fear as Crystal Maze is very much like an escape room but instead of playing in a room by yourself with your team mates shouting at you through a window with an escape room you can all play together at the same time. Will Lady Chastity spook you? – Handmade Mysteries: Lady Chastity

Lady Chastity game can be played in four different locations (three in London and one in Brighton). I went along with some other bloggers from Love Pop Ups London community to play the game of Lady Chastity at their newest venue which is set in The Hope pub in Farringdon.

The Hope Pub

Firstly this is a lovely small pub with a bar area downstairs and restaurant/bar area upstairs. I went and sat upstairs to have a pie. All their pies are from the famous award winning Pieminster. Continue reading
