Doing time drinking – Alcotraz

Alcotraz is an immersive cocktail bar in London set in the heart of Brick Lane and is the only immersive prison type bar within London at present.  Alcotraz initially opened up as a pop up back in September 2017 created by Sam Shearman the founder of Inventive Productions. From January 2018 though it has now become a permanent venue. Sam was inspired by (you guessed it) Alcatraz. The entire venue can accommodate 40 inmates at any one time and throughout your sentence cell mates will be served four cocktails made from the liquor that you have smuggled past the guards. Do you want Beauty or the Beast? – Beauty and the Feast

Beauty and the Feast is a blend of theatre and a supper club from the designers Darling & Edge.  This is their latest immersive event that is happening in The Vaults with the story being loosely based on the well-known fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.  Be warned though this is not your average panto as this is for adults only, so leave behind your kids.

Immerse yourself into another Land – Escape Land

I went along tonight and had the pleasure to play both games Professor Oxfords Experiments and Da Vincis Exploration at Escape Land in Oxford Street, London. I went along with some of the community of ‘Love Pop Ups London’ to play both games.

Each room you can have up to six players and it is your mission to escape within 60 minutes and to do that you have to fight your way through by solving and cracking many puzzles and mysteries. Escape rooms are most certainly the most best way to have fun with family, friends or colleagues and a great time in team building. Continue reading

Gingerline presents Juniper Manor has held various unique immersive dining experiences over the years in London which are all usually based in a building off one of the stations that is along the Overground Line (Gingerline).  The location is kept secret until 4pm on the day which is then confirmed via text message.

The Death of the King is based in the basement of an abandoned rug factory, deep under the streets of London, where a psychologically-thrilling immersive experience awaited.
