BBC Good Food: FEAST held a foodie event in the grounds (moat) of The Tower of London from 22-24 September 2017. There were so many stalls, cooking demos, supper clubs, masterclasses, street food, cocktails, skills school, pop up restaurants, bars, tastings and top chefs to meet such as the wonderful country boy Tom Kerridge, Michelin star Michel Roux Jr and Masterchef judge John Torode.
Whole Foods for one day only put on a pop up about Skrei cod presented and cooked by the Michel Roux Jr. a famous Michelin starred London chef.
Whole Foods is like a big market which sell various food such rice, nuts, fresh vegetables, fish, crockery, etc. Upstairs there are several restaurants selling all kinds of food and cuisine from hot pulled pork sandwiches to Chinese.
Certain times throughout the year Whole Foods lay on special events. I went along to the Skrei Supper Club one that was hosted by the great Michel Roux Jr. who is a Michelin starred chef. Continue reading
