Aperol Spritz Socials – 100 year birthday celebration

Aperol Spritz Sundial Social popped up in Shoreditch this June to celebrate 100 years with their unique pop up bar where they served Aperol Spritz and provided much fun.

I attended courtesy of Aperol Spritz on a blogger basis and enjoyed plenty of Aperol Spritz whilst splashing around in one of their Fiat-500 hot tubs, waddled in the pool, hid behind a Aperol waterfall, had fun in a cocktail shaped ball pool, danced to the musical tunes by a DJ, rode a revolving carousel bar and rode a Vespa, OK maybe not rode it as I had been drinking after all and to top it all ate plenty of birthday cake.

KitchenAid – Making History 100 Pop Up

KitchenAid held a celebration pop up event on 7 May celebrating once-in-a-century.

As I am a keen amateur chef and love experimenting as well as following those step by step instructions from cook books I was highly delighted when I received a special invite from KitchenAid to celebrate with them.

I must admit I am grateful that I was born in an era where there are so many kitchen appliances to be had to aid any budding cook like myself to whip up cream or even beat an egg.

The pop up event was held within Canary Wharf in the East Winter Gardens building in which KitchenAid celebrated their 100 years. I and other invitees were taken on a historical journey through the ages of KitchenAid.

Social fine dining – Eleven98 Hackney

Venturing into London’s Hackney heading to a social dining experience run by Aidan Brooks called Eleven98 Hackney I was unsure what I was going to be served on the night and with me being very fussy I was a bit concerned.  Also I was going alone as I was invited down personally by Aidan. Going alone was a bit daunting to say the least but when I arrived at Eleven98 Hackney and sat down I soon started to mingle with the other guests, even though those around me were all couples.

Firstly though let me tell you more about Eleven98 Hackney and Aidan.

Get Arty – PopUp Painting

I am a big kid at heart and just love anything fun and quirky.  So, when I heard about PopUp Painting I was excited about the prospect of trying to paint a proper piece of art with a paintbrush in one hand and a glass of prosecco in another.

To be honest though I have not painted properly for a long time as the only painting I seem to do now days is with my niece who is six and let’s just say my art is more on the lines of stick men and unicorns.

So, when I was invited down on a complimentary basis along with another member of Love Pop Ups London (Chelsea) to have some fun in painting I was certainly not going to let this opportunity brush on by.

PopUp Painting

PopUp Painting popped up back in 2013 with their take on social painting classes.  Social painting classes have been popular over the world for a number of years but there was not any in the UK at the time.
