Drink, drink and more drink – The Spirit Show, London

I went along to the press afternoon of The Spirit Show which was held at the Business Design Centre (1-2 December 2017) in which I took along my blogger friend Kim (see her blog by clicking here). Press events are great as attending those sessions are much quieter which in turn makes it easier and more leisurely to browse around all the stalls, instead of trying to keep on pushing pass everyone to sample a drink or two or to have a discussion with the sellers/owners.

If you love cinema and good quality food then Taste Film is mostly certainly the best way to experience a movie from start to finish. The whole night was superbly done.

Taste Film – Sex in the City

Reception

I went along tonight to have a 4 course meal whilst watching the movie ‘Sex in the City’ via Taste. The film experience happened on the top floor on the View 94 restaurant which they used this time around.  Firstly though me and my man friend was firstly greeted by the lovely host who welcomed us and explained about the night. We then was given a welcome drink and if your a ‘Sex in the City’ fan then you will know what the drink is, that’s right it was a Cosmopolitan. This was my very first ever Cosmopolitan and it was a huge delight with its citrus sharpeness hitting my tongue making all my taste buds tingle with excitement it was like a having a mini orgasm literally on my tongue the flavour was a delight to be had and without knowing the ingredients I then discovered it was made out of vodka which is my favourite spirit just love love love.  “Why did we ever stop drinking these?” in my case “Why did I never ever have this before?” Continue reading

Beautiful lush heavenly scented products – Button & Wilde

Button & Wilde was a pop up shop that popped up in London for just two days in 2017.  Firstly I love their lovely cute logo of a hedgehog and a squirrel so adorable.  The pop up shop of theirs was decorated out beautifully with a painting of a pink blossom tree and cones of a tree hanging around and some plant foliage laid around here and there between the productions they were selling.  The smell also as you went inside is so lush it really does make you feel like you are in a field of flowers and citrus fruits.  Continue reading

Dip, crunch & eat crisps – HipChips

HipChips is a pop up that is based in London’s Soho area for a limited time in where you can buy and eat freshly cooked chips along with dips.

HipChips and dips

Let’s get dipping

What an amazing unique concept crisps and various dips. I don’t usually like crisps that much but these crisps are amazing. They look awesome with all the various crisp colours, crunchy and taste crisptastic. I opted for the small size portion with two pudding dips at £4.50 or you can have savory. I chose the lemon & raspberry dip and the salted caramel dip. Both were lush, the lemon & raspberry creamy and tangy and the salted caramel so sweet, extremely salty and rich. Continue reading

I love Moomins – Adventures in Moominland

This exhibition Adventures in Moominland has popped up for a limited time from16 December 2016 to 23 April 2017 in Londons Southbank.

Adventures in Moominland

moo

It begins

It is a great and unique way to learn more about Tove Jansson the author/ artist of the great Moomins and more about Moomins and the other characters that appear in her books. I loved going on the journey through Moominland clambering through a forest, sitting in a tent, huddling in a cave etc. It was so interesting to learn in this unique way that the majority of her stories and charters all was related to do with her life from romance to depression.
