I was invited down by Secret Cellar to watch Mahdi’s first performance in The Vaults. I was literally blown away by the miracles he pulled off considering he was born without any hands. Continue reading

Drink, drink and more drink – The Spirit Show, London

I went along to the press afternoon of The Spirit Show which was held at the Business Design Centre (1-2 December 2017) in which I took along my blogger friend Kim (see her blog by clicking here). Press events are great as attending those sessions are much quieter which in turn makes it easier and more leisurely to browse around all the stalls, instead of trying to keep on pushing pass everyone to sample a drink or two or to have a discussion with the sellers/owners.

Open Sesame – Secret Cellar: Brendan Rodrigues

Secret Cellar really is a secret.  Once entering the bar area I was slightly confused where the theatre was as all I could see was a bar and tables. So I went to the bar to ask where is the theatre and they said I had to wait to see. The whole bar area is quite unique with its slightly gothic feel of gargoyles statues and other unique décor set in around the bar. There are also seating areas all dotted around in unique secluded areas making it feel a bit more special if you are in a party of approx. 6 to 8 people. I especially loved the tree house which featured stained glass windows within the area. Continue reading

What a HELL of a performance – Bat Out of Hell

Bat Out of Hell is based on Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits which are all played in this powerful rock and roll musical creating a tremendous loud, heart pumping, rock and roll show.

With the songs alone this is a musical that will be big for all rock and roll fans out there. It is only being shown in the Coliseum for a very limited season which is a shame so don’t miss it before it’s gone, gone, gone. Continue reading

Horror gortastic – Peacock Theatre: Horror

Shock horror! Horror is the most spine-tingling most intense knife edged horror show that I have ever seen played out at any theatre “Oh yes, there will be blood”.

Jakop Ahlbom’s show is full of dance, mime, acrobatics and magical illusion making this the most truly outstanding but unsettling piece of theatre keeping you the edge of your seat all the time.

You can leave your hat on! – Kurious Kittens

Kurious Kittens was my first ever strip show I have ever attended and I was quite apprehensive from the beginning and nervous in what we was going to encounter but yet curious.

Upon arriving at Kurious Kittens we see a line full of eager ladies yearning to see hot blooded men.  The security man at the door that was checking us in was quite abrupt with us girls why I don’t know but I felt he was unpleasant plus my name was missing from the list for some strange reason.   Continue reading
