Stormtrooper beer not in a galaxy far far away

I’ve been waiting for you, Stormtrooper beer! to keep my faith alive during lockdown feeling like I am in living in a new world full of danger and uncertainty Stormtrooper beer came to the rescue. Thankfully I did not have to wait light years as Vocation Brewery is based on Earth within Hebden Bridge, not far far away.

I was gifted a few PR samples of their Stormtrooper beer on a courtesy basis to enjoy within my home which were all out of this world.

Stormtrooper beer is brewed within an award-winning Vocation Brewery in Hebden Bridge.

They brew imperial ales to imperious lagers, all of which are exclusively produced by an elite garrison of hop shock troops, stationed at Vocation Brewery. Vocation Brewery is one of the UK’s leading craft breweries, who produce beers which is focussed on American hops and fruity tropical flavours.

Double, double toil and trouble – The Cauldron

A magical cocktail experience called The Cauldron has popped up in London for 4 months.

Matthew Cortland who is a technologist and a former reading teacher along with David Duckworth who is a molecular mixologist and cocktail designer came up with the concept of combining science, technology and magic. They got their inspiration from movies such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars (not endorsed, affiliated or associated in anyway).

Not to Far Far away at this Star Wars at The O2 there are so many costumes, props, models and artwork from the movies to glance upon. Plus you can also create your own identity along your journey leading up to what you would look like in Star Wars depending on your options which you choose.  Who would you resemble?

I particularly enjoyed seeing the vehicles that were used in Star Wars as they were a lot smaller than I ever imagined and I enjoyed seeing the artist’s sketches especially the many various ones on Chewbacca. Continue reading
