Fabulous 698B is fabulous

Supper clubs are lately becoming very popular in London with one popping up nearly every day from ones which are run by passionate amateur cooks through to seasoned professionals.

I was invited down by the owners of Fabulous 698B to enjoy a very unique experience which was not like any other supper club I have encountered.

Fabulous 698b was set up back in 2015 by experienced professional chefs Maja Pauling and Guillaume Jounot.  They offer a delicious and innovative menus with a cocktail on arrival and a few extra surprises throughout the evening.

They usually hold their supper clubs once a month at the Thrown art gallery, at their home or at another niche venue within London.

Darling dumplings – Alla’s Yummy Food

I am a big foodie and love learning new techniques and cooking dishes that I have unlikely done before. I was invited down by Alla on a courtesy basis to learn with some other tastemakers from TimeOut how to make and cook dumplings the Russian way.

Alla is a Russian/Latvian TV chef and food blogger. She is passionate about food and creating unique food experiences for people who have never tried Russian and Eastern European Food. She particularly loves how food brings different cultures together.

She graduated as a professional chef and intermediate pastry chef from Westminster College in London. Since then she has appeared on television such as the National Russian TV and British TV. Some of her food videos have even been featured on Tastemade and Insider Food with over 5 million views on Facebook.

Supper Clubs are becoming more and more popular with so many popping up lately in London as well as all over the UK. The other night I had the pleasure of being invited down on a courtesy basis via Alexandra of Eat Me Supper Club.

An Urban Supper – Salty Studio

Salty Studio which is a supper club invited me down to their latest culinary inspired supper club event which was a series on Secret Urban Suppers. I attended the Kreuzberg, Berlin one along with my friend Joice.

Up, up and away – Gingerline The Grand Expedition

Gingerline is back and this time they are taking dining adventures up, up and away with their latest adventure of The Grand Expedition.

This time I was invited on a complimentary basis from Gingerline to take on their latest adventure of The Grand Expedition along with a plus 1 whom which I took Steve.

MasterChef food by Stuart Archer – The Jam Shed Supper Club

Ever watched people and celebrities on television enjoying culinary delights cooked by MasterChef finalists and ever wondered what it might be like. Well wait no more as with The Jam Shed Supper Club you can do just that.

I had the privilege of attending the first night of The Jam Shed Supper Club to taste their Australian wine which was being showcased and to enjoy culinary delights by Stuart Archer MasterChef finalist of 2016 one of the many MasterChefs who will be cooking at this pop up.

Before I tell you more about the whole evening let me tell you a bit more about The Jam Shed Supper Club.

Flipping out for Filipino food – Pepe’s Kitchen

Mae of Pepe’s Kitchen kindly invited me and my friend Joice down to taste and experience her supper club full of Filipino dish’s.

Firstly let me tell you about Pepe’s Kitchen which Mae runs.

Mae comes from the Philippines and loves cooking and entertaining so she decided to run her own supper clubs at least once a month to bring Filipino food to London.   She wants to transport people’s mind to the Philippines through her food and dining experience.
