This Morning – Surprise Your Wife

My appearance with Gino D’Acampo on ‘ITV This Morning’ segment of
‘Surprise Your Wife’ back in August 2010.

My husband Jason fixed it for me to be surprised by Gino as I am a fan of all celebrity chefs.  Gino D’Acampo, Rick Stein and Theo Randall are my top three celebrity chefs that I truly admire.

It starts off with Jason my husband learning how to make a salmon dish with Gino D’Acampo and then Gino creating a strawberry dessert.

I then return home and Jason opens up the door all suited up followed by a camera crew.  He told me it was all to do with a new cookery programme in men trying to cook for their wives. The meal was delicious and one that I have cooked many times since.

When it came to dessert time Gino D’Acampo comes in through the living room doors to surprise me along with the dessert. Even though desserts to me are the most exciting moment during any meal time this time I was not craving the dessert as I was craving over Gino instead, lush!

After the filming Gino spent some time with us speaking about his time on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ and his cookery programmes etc. plus we had a number of other selfies/photos before he left.

It truly was a magical evening and one I will never forget.
