Parabolic Theatre – Codename: Morningstar

Love immersive theatre? Love being scared? Love a murder story? Then you’ll love Parabolic Theatre 16 March and 1 April. Then this immersive theatre production is one that you will not want to miss. Parabolic Theatre: Morningstar is a story about beginnings and choices, about who you can trust and who you can’t, about the birth of evil and the death of innocence. Told through a lone performer and an interactive environment, it is an immersive journey to the dawn of time that poses questions about the nature of evil and our relationship with it. Inspired by works ranging from Paradise Lost to the Bioshock computer games. Morningstar is an abstract, interactive promenade performance for a small audience.

Thanks to Parabolic Theatre who let some of the community of Love Pop Ups London come down to experience your unique immersive theatre production.

“Got to experience a show part of the Croydonites Festival of New Theatre. It took place at a secret location which was very fitting of the event. I knew there was some serious passion put into the show when I received the back story in an email which had some serious depth to it. The show itself was very atmospheric and immersive, although we were left a little confused at what we should be doing. It’s all top secret though so i can’t give anything else away. For £8 it’s well worth it. Performances run for the next week.”

“Right from the beginning, with the receiving of an in depth creative email, we knew we were about to enter a fully flushed out world. The email consisted of a 7 page document and instructions to a meeting point. It was obvious that the show started with the chime of a clock. We met the intended and were taken to a secret location very fitting to the show.”
