Relax, renew and refresh

I received a box of luxury products from Africology for the face and body Each of which looked, sounded interesting and smelt lovely.

Face

Purifying Cleansing Gel (sachet) helps tone and cleanse the skin without drying the skin, as the gel contains Quillaja extract and soapwort, which are both natural, mild cleansing and foaming agents.

The gel smelt lovely of rosemary and lavender. Applying the gel with damp hands, avoiding the eye area, and removing after with warm water it left my skin feeling cleansed and rebalanced all thanks to the natural oils. A very nice smooth moisturising experience.

Moisturise with SPE15 (sachet) is the perfect day cream, which is a intensely hydrating cream which has been enriched with olive extracts. This rich shea has a blend of aloe ferox, rose oil, marula oil, sweet almond, coconut and olive oil.

Upon opening I loved the smell of the almonds, roses and coconut. The cream was creamy and left my skin feeling soothed and softened and as it has natural SPF 15 it also helped protect my skin from the sun.

Renewing facial therapy serum (30ml bottle) is made from Padina Pavonica (Peacocks Tail Algae) which a clinically proven extract from marine algae that actively mobilizes calcium to support the cell structure and strengthen the epidermis. The powerful actives stimulates the production of Glycosaminglucas (GAGs) which are responsible for the hydration, firmness and elasticity of the skin. Stimulating the synthesis of GAGs increases the metabolism of the skin, intercellular communication and cell renewal: cells respond rapidly with fast, visible results.

Applying directly to my skin a few drops and rubbing in my skin felt refreshed.

Body

Bath Salts (25ml pot) are a blend of African Potato, Marula, Rooibos and Aloe Ferox which helps to soften the skin, improve circulation and relax sore and stuff muscles, while the essential oils help you to switch off and calm the mind.

Sprinkling 2 capfuls under hot running water while filling the bath allowing to dissolve I soon had a bath full of aroma to soak in. Left my skin feeling smooth and reenergised.

Marula Oil (sachet) is a great oil to condition the body. Is made from marula oil and infused with rooibos and neroli to soften signs of ageing through its anti-stress action. This is an all-over body serum that is rich in oleic and palmitic acid, used to gently seal off the skin from free radical attach ideal for the treatment of stretchmarks or scarring particularly good for treating dry skin.

Is recommended to use daily after a hot shower or bath. Applying over my body I felt refreshed and left my skin shiny and feeling good.

Body Balm (10ml pot) is a infusion of rosehip oil which is an excellent source of natural Vitamin A. The balm exfoliates and promotes the production of collagen and elastin. The shea butter base a a natural SPF 7 and is excellent at softening, protecting and healing the skin.

Massaging into the skin all over my body this floral smelling balm I discovered helps increase the lymph flow and circulation, as well as nourish the skin, relieving tension in painful and tight muscles. Plus also wonderful as an alternate massage medium or even added to bath water, or even melt in an aromatherapy burner.

All of Africology cleansing products left my skin feeling clean, fresh and new.

The beauty though about Africology is that not only do their products make you feel new and refreshed but all their products contain no toxic chemicals, vegan friendly, ethical and cruelty free.
