Schools in – Gingerline The Faculty of Eatucation

School term is over or should I say Gingerline’s latest pop up Faculty of Eatucation has now finished.  So I am now allowed to reveal what happened during my time at Faculty of Eatucation.

Who are they?

Firstly though let me explain who Gingerline are.

Gingerline popped up back in 2010 and provide special pop up immersive dining experiences from their classic type Gingerline experience through to Chamber of Flavours.

With any Gingerline event no matter which one you go along to you will experience a fusion of art, performance, food, drink and design, taking intrepid diners on an absurdist adventure like no other. Continue reading

Could I be the next Robin Hood? – Archery Fit

The last time I ever played archery was when I was back at school, which let’s just say was a very long time ago but the passion always remained with me.  For example whenever I go on a cruise holiday (www.lovecruisesworldwide.com) I always compete in the archery competitions on board however unfortunately the arrows are not proper ones as they only have suckers on them but nevertheless it is still very fun.  Also my passion for archery has grown over the past decade or two through watching inspiring characters from movies and TV such as Robin Hood and the very sexy Daryl Dixon from Walking Dead. Burger in the sky – Deliveroo Eat Up

Feeling like the cat that has got the cream I was one of the lucky ones to attend Deliveroo’s Eat Up sky-high dining event.

However before I tell you about my experience hot dogging up in the air let me tell you a little about Deliveroo.

Deliveroo was founded by CEO Will Shu who moved to London in 2013.  He discovered a city full of great restaurants, but he was amazed that so few of them delivered food. So he made it his personal mission to bring the best local restaurants food direct to people by a offering a fast and reliable service which customers can order via their phone and track.

The names Jo, Jo M – AIM Escape Spy Heroes

I went along the other day with one of my great friend Bianca and her friends to play a test run of AIM’s newest and most technology based escape room in London ‘Spy Heroes’.

AIM is one of London’s newest escape rooms to hit London.  Their escape rooms take players to a new high with an experience like no other with extreme high tech cutting edge challenges, complex narratives, hyper realistic sets and props along with great unique stories. Learning never exhausts the mind – London Escaped Da Vinci

Tonight we went to London Escaped to show Da Vinci that we are worthy to be his newest students.

London Escaped has only recently opened up bringing to London two atmospheric games with more to come.  At present they have one called the Prisoner and the other Da Vinci.  Like all other escape rooms the mission is to hunt for keys, find clues, solve puzzles and to beat the clock within 60 minutes. Locked up – London Escaped Prisoner

The time had come on this chilling night for seven of us from Love Pop Ups London community to take on the London Escaped Prisoner which is a very new escape room company which is based in Aldgate East.

Roll up it’s time for a beer – Lagunitas Beer Circus

Roll up, roll up all beer and circus lovers as Lagunitas Beer Circus is in town.

Hopping across the pond Lagunitas Beer Circus came to Flat Iron Square, London for one day only (18 August) for the very first time.  The space was transformed into an all singing and dancing circus, complete with a Ring Master, clowns, circus performances, music and BEER.

What lies beneath – Sea Creatures

Sea Creatures has swam into London this August and will be here until 30 September 2018.

It is an interactive and immersive exhibition that will take guests on a journey deep into some of the ocean’s most iconic marine species.
