About lovepopupslondon

I set this website up for me and a community of bloggers, reviewers, vloggers, Tweeters and Instagram users whom are all passionate about restaurants, bars, events, exhibitions, hotels, theatre shows, cinema, escape rooms and pop ups in London. As a community we love to discover, experience, promote and blog/review about new places.

I hope that you all enjoy reading my posts plus others. I hope that all our posts inspire you all to go along to one of the new popped up businesses/places or events in London.

Doing time drinking – Alcotraz

Alcotraz is an immersive cocktail bar in London set in the heart of Brick Lane and is the only immersive prison type bar within London at present.  Alcotraz initially opened up as a pop up back in September 2017 created by Sam Shearman the founder of Inventive Productions. From January 2018 though it has now become a permanent venue. Sam was inspired by (you guessed it) Alcatraz. The entire venue can accommodate 40 inmates at any one time and throughout your sentence cell mates will be served four cocktails made from the liquor that you have smuggled past the guards. Will Lady Chastity spook you? – Handmade Mysteries: Lady Chastity

Lady Chastity game can be played in four different locations (three in London and one in Brighton). I went along with some other bloggers from Love Pop Ups – London community to play the game of Lady Chastity at their newest venue which is set in The Hope pub in Farringdon.

The Poisoned Garden by Blackwatch Entertainment –

The story was about a curse that was bestowed upon the Winter’s a Victorian family. The whole rooftop was transformed that evening into an eerie 19th century garden. It was up Continue reading

Gino, Gino, Gino! – WeFiFo: Gino D’Acampo event

Gino held a special event along with WeFiFo the other day and it was FANTASTICO!

Many of the other community members of ‘Love Pop Ups – London’ have had the pleasure to attend many of WeFiFo’s various supperclubs in the past courtesy of me and them (read their blogs/vlogs via clicking here) but this time it was my turn. I paid for my experience though as when I saw Gino’s special event being advertised I immediately wanted to secure my spot as I am a massive fan of Gino D’Acampo. However regardless of that any WeFiFo supperclub event is worth every penny as they are all so unique and special.  Continue reading
