Taste of Christmas returns to Tobacco Docks to showcase yet again what the capital has from it’s best restaurants, top chefs and leading food and drink brands.

Sheep or no sheep? – clueQuest: Revenge of the Sheep

The other day I went along to yes you guessed it by the photo above yet another Escape Room in London and when I thought I’d had my list of top 5 Escape Rooms in my head clueQuest the Revenge of the Sheep game has had to make me rethink about my top 5 as this one is most certainly now one of them.

Drink goggles on, party shoes on, check  – The Listing, Drake and Morgan

I had the privilege of going along to the launch night of Drake and Morgans newest bar & restaurant The Listing which is based in Cannon Street last week on 9th November. This is now Drake and Morgans 19th bar & restaurant.

The launch party was being held on the ground floor in the main bar and restaurant area. The party was heaving with people but that did not matter as the two storied building with wrap around windows gave you views from in/out of the restaurant making the whole place seem open leading us not to Continue reading

Are you Eve or Lilith that is the question? – Bompas and Parr: Rotten to the Core

I went along to Bompas and Parr’s latest innovation with a few other blogger friends from Love Pop Ups – London on 10th November to learn about the most sinful fruit on the earth the ‘Apple’.

The event took place at Block 336 in Brixton and we were led to an immersive 2 hour journey into a world of gluttony, greed and excess leading us into a sensory experience, ritualistic in eating practices and fortune telling and so much more.

Eat, drink and play – Social Fun and Games (SFG)

The other day I went to the launch night of Social Fun and Games (SFG) which has returned this winter to Stratford Centre, Roof East (8th floor). You will be able to relax, eat and drink in one of the cosy Igloos, drink in one of the many bars, listen and dance to music or play fun games such as Jenga or a game of curling with your friends.

Wicked Halloween treats – La di da Sweet Treats

Every year I put on a pop-up Halloween event at mine for the kids in the neighbourhood providing them with much frights and ghoulish surprises from animatronic ghosts to ghoulish decorated cupcakes which I make and creepy cake pop eyeballs that my sister Emma Micallef of Cakes Makes Memories made. Hi, I’m Joanne. Wanna be spooked? – Halloween Pop Up

This year for my pop up Halloween annual event I am helping to raise funds for Kent Wildlife Trust. Why you ask as I love animals and I live opposite a woods full of wildlife.

“Every town has an Elm Street” and annually on Halloween my street, well my house turns into one. On Halloween “We all go a little mad sometimes”.
