Fentimans Pink Gingerbread House full of sweetness and spice

Not leaving breadcrumbs but colour coding my way through the underground adventuring deep into London I went to seek out Fentimans Pink Gingerbread House which has recently popped up at Skylight to promote about their newest soda drink Pink Ginger.

I was invited down along with some other community members of Love Pop Ups London via Fentimans to cosy on up within their edible Gingerbread House and indulge in a bottle or two of their newest drink.

Fentimans

Fentimans has been making natural botanical drinks for over 100 years since 1905. Thomas Fentiman the founder of Fentimans started out initially brewing ginger beer. Since then lots of other beverages have created and developed by them from their ever so popular Rose Lemonade through to their traditional Ginger Beer. All their drinks are brewed for seven days using the time-honoured botanical brewing process resulting in superior tasting drink.

For this festive season they have launched a new drink called Pink Ginger. To promote about their newest drink they have popped up within Skylight with their very own Pink Gingerbread House.

Fentimans Pink Gingerbread House celebrates their launch of their new Pink Ginger soft drink, which is a contemporary twist on the much-loved traditional Ginger Beer. Londoners can visit for festive ginger cocktails and sweet treats in a magical fairy-tale environment unlike no other in London.

A Gingerbread House of sweetness and spice

Upon wondering the underground and the streets of London and adventuring on into Skylight there in the background was a Gingerbread House enticing us in.

Stepping through the doors of the Fentimans Pink Gingerbread House immediately I was hit by heat from the ever cosy fire and over joyed by all the sweets and drink on offer.

Sitting within the lush pink interior snuggling up with cosy blankets and munching on sweet treats such as candy canes, biscuits and Fentimans Pink Ginger full of sweetness and spice least we knew there would be no witch trying to lock us up within this Gingerbread House. All we had to worry about was how many calories we might be consuming from all the sweet stuff that donned the room.

There was even an edible wall full of sweetness and spice.

We was even treated to a welcome cocktail each. Plus there was a menu on hand with other drinks to order if we so wished at a cost.

However we must not forget that this pop up is in celebration of their new Pink Ginger drink which is a contemporary expression of their ginger style drink, with an emphasis on a lighter, aromatic flavour. The fresh and fragrant ginger flavour has been achieved by using the botanical brewing method, used to make all Fentimans drinks, combined with pear juice, orange and herbal extracts. The result is a drink of the highest quality with an unrivalled depth of flavour, which can be consumed on its own, or served in delicious cocktails – a perfect lightly spiced option for festive drinks with a difference.

Skylight

Plus whilst at Skylight if you wanted something a bit more savoury you can enjoy a burger from Flip Side or even Greek cuisine by Yiro or even enjoy a drink from their apres skate bars which are illuminated with glimmering lights and serve you a delicious array of warming wintery cocktails, beers and ciders as well as mulled wine. You can also hire igloos on this rooftop to mingle with friends.
