Azaline Vermouth uses botanicals from the ancient Silk Road

The secret of happiness is variety, but the secret of variety, like the secret of all spices, is knowing when to use it and Azaline Vermouth certainly knew how. Aloha 65 a taste of the Caribbean in a bottle

Stuck at home surfing the net not being able to surf the waves or fly to exotic locations such as the Caribbean due to Covid 19? I discovered Aloha an exotic Caribbean drink to wash away my worries.

On a courtesy basis I was kindly gifted a bottle of Aloha botanical spirit and hot sauce to enjoy at home.

Back in the 90’s Aloha 65 was born by British ex-pat Stephen Thorp’s whom run a popular U.S. surf bar which was vibrant, eclectic, and full of character. It became famous for Stephen’s hand-made signature sundowners which he would make and give away as a thank you to his loyal customers. He experimented with various fruit infusions, naming them after local surfers. One in particular proved very popular of a carefully balanced blend made from tropical fruits and a kick of spice. It became such a winner Stephen decided to bottle it. It took him 65 recipes to perfect, but here it is Aloha 65.

Amala Chai taste of India in a cup

I only recently discovered about Chai tea when I was on a cruise holiday and I instantly fell in love with it, from the creaminess and spices it produced. So when I heard about Amala Chai cardamon masala & black tea I just had to try it.

If you have not heard of Chai before it is a flavoured tea beverage which is made from black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. It originates from India and the beverage which has grown in popularity, becoming a feature in many coffee, tea houses and cruises.
