Patty & Bun NEW Smash! burgers at Kingly Street

I love burgers! but noting has never ever come close to Patty & Bun as their burgers truly are the best as they are big, juicy and full of flavour. Now for those who are not that keen on thick patty’s they have launched a new range called Smash! which a thinner patty, cheaper but still giving that great awesome taste. They can be enjoyed within their restaurant in Kingly Street which is just off Carnaby Street.

Courtesy of Patty & Bun I was invited down to enjoy one of their newest thinner Smash! burgers which was SMASHING!

Patty & Bun

Patty & Bun originally began as a pop up selling burgers before opening in November 2012 with it’s very first Patty & Bun restaurant in James Street in Marylebone. Today, they have a number of restaurants within the UK.

Everyday they strive in creating the best juiciest burgers using the freshest and best ingredients. Their aim is to create the most epic experience with great vibes at the heart of everything they do.

JimJams 83% Less Sugar Spread Snack

I recently was told that I am on the verge of becoming a diabetic so lately I have had to change what I eat in a big way and one of the main things I had to cut from my diet was sugar so that meant cutting out my daily treat of munching on a chocolate bar or two.

So when I received an email to taste and review JimJams newest product of Milk Chocolate Dippers which is a healthier chocolate snack I could not resist. JimJams milk chocolate is 83% less sugar than a normal chocolate spread.

Did you know that most chocolate spreads contain the equivalent of up to 56 cubes of sugar in one standard jar?

JimJams

Kellie and Kevin wanted an alternative healthier treat for their children and so it became their mission to create a chocolate spread that tasted fantastic yet contained a lot less sugar than leading brands (83% less sugar to be precise!) and so JimJams was born.

Cuban Love – Little Havana

I have never been very adventurous when it comes to food but in my later years I am becoming more adventurous and trying out new cuisine.  So with this being my first ever taste of Cuban food I thought what a better way than to try it at the new Little Havana restaurant that recently opened up in October 2017 situated on Inverness Street in Camden.

Little Havana – Cuban cuisine

Raul Jerez is the man who has brought the authentic Cuban flavours to London in which you will be able to experience at Little Havana the great authentic Cuban cuisine and delicious cocktails with plenty of rum ones to choose from of course.  Plus as well as food and drink Little Havana lays on many Latin House nights (on certain nights) and salsa classes (on Tuesdays). Steak and more steak – Bar + Block

This new Bar + Block in Kings Cross which has recently opened joins the other existing Birmingham and Whiteley restaurants.  There is also another new Bar + Block to open soon in Bath.

Bar + Block in Kings Cross

Bar + Block in Kings Cross shares it’s space within Premier Inn.  Upon entering the restaurant entrance you firstly come across a bar area before getting to the reception desk.  The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.  The restaurant area is quite a large open space with a number of lovely wooden tables dotted around and everything is beige/wooden colours making the place very relaxing on the eyes.  I went along with one of my blogger friends Gemma and we sat in one of the comfy booths on the side which had a window looking out into the reception area of Premier Inn. We also could see the chefs open Kitchen area easily from where we was sat.  I love open kitchen areas as I so love watch the chefs cook. We were firstly presented with a bread basket that consisted of several different types of bread which was lovely and very fresh however we did not get a piece of each different style of bread so we had to break in half each piece which was strange I thought.  Plus there was melted butter in the bottom of the cup holding the bread.
