I’m Dreaming Of A Baileys – Baileys Treat Bar

I had the joy of attending a private special masterclass at Baileys Treat Bar the other night along with some other fellow TimeOut Tastemakers. Tastemakers is a club that I belong to through TimeOut on occasions throughout the year there are opportunities to join this club if you are a an avid reviewer, blogger or Instagrammer.

Baileys began back in 1974 in Dublin. David the godfather of Baileys, had a vision for something new, something unapologetically luxurious. Working alongside a passionate team of technical experts he began his mission and created a Baileys recipe which is a delicious blend of two of Ireland’s greatest ingredients rich dairy cream and their finest Whiskey.

Up up and away – Schweppes Flavour Adventure on the London Eye

The other day I went on a journey through time, taste, and gazed upon London capitals spectacular backdrop all whilst sipping on my cocktail or two made using Schweppes.

This popped up event called Schweppes Flavour Adventure popped up at the Coca-Cola London Eye to celebrate London Cocktail Week, which runs from 3 – 7 October.

Who needs the real South Pole? – South Pole Saloon in Brixton

South Pole Saloon is Christmas.

With Christmas just round the corner what a top way to start any festive celebration off by sipping on martinis and cocktails whilst also grabbing a selfie or two with the Sweet Candy Cane girls, Ice King and the Frozen Ice Queen of Brixton.

I had the pleasure of attending the launch night of South Pole Saloon which is back for it’s second time being bigger and better.

Eat, drink and play – Social Fun and Games (SFG)

The other day I went to the launch night of Social Fun and Games (SFG) which has returned this winter to Stratford Centre, Roof East (8th floor). You will be able to relax, eat and drink in one of the cosy Igloos, drink in one of the many bars, listen and dance to music or play fun games such as Jenga or a game of curling with your friends.

Food glorious food – Foodies Festival at Alexandra Palace

I have visited many food shows before in the past but this was my first time in attending a Foodies Festival. First impressions was that the event was quite small and nowhere as big as other food shows I have been to in the past as because this one I managed to get around the whole show area within 30 minutes and with that in mind I don’t know how people can try and spend the whole day there without getting a bit bored but I suppose the only way you could extend your time without getting bored is by attending a number Continue reading

Jimmy Garcia has done many pop ups over the past few years but Jimmy Garcia BBQ Club is the most largest and ambitious residency to date (pop up limited time 20 May and closing 31 September 2017). The BBQ Club is set on the London Southbank Centre with a split-level of the BBQ Takeaway Bar downstairs and a BBQ Club rooftop upstairs which you can experience a six course tasting menu making it the best way to enjoy alfresco dining in London.
